Yeah. It's the same as trying to find a killer D&D group. Always sounds great in theory, but there's always that one guy out to ruin it for everyone else, for some reason.

Agreed so very much. Turned all-chat off about a season ago and have not regretted it at all. While most people in my games are very quiet in chat, there's about a 33% chance that if someone speaks in my game their first words will be aggressive towards my team, I'll mute them, then the post-game chat will show them raging. Emote spamming has become such a commonplace occurrence that I've had champion voices turned off for months, wish I could hear some voice-overs again without needing to hear people who get enjoyment out of being irritating (you'd think that would stop once people left middle school, right?).

I want a game where all 10 people use their skill at this game to win. I don't want games where people on my team say stuff like, "You should have..." because clearly there's nothing I can do about that now. I want opponents that choose to use all-chat for reasons like, "ok" when the other team's 0/9 support steals Dragon/Baron rather than opponents that use all-chat for, "Report X for Y". I don't want a game where people try to anger their opponents by spamming emotes, but rather one where people use emotes to show off character interactions.

Until that day comes though, I'm going to keep my voices off, all-chat off, have my mouse hovering my teammates' mute buttons. Perhaps if Riot added an option to hide all emotes from characters I'd be able to turn voices back on, and perhaps if Riot gave us the ability to hide an ally's pings I'd be able to do anything against people who spam pings out of frustration without affecting all of my allies' ability to ping.

Quit every game then?

I play CoD, LoL, Battlefield 4, Planetside, HotS, Age of Empires and many more.

It's IMPOSSIBLE to get perfectly matched games every match no matter what game you're playing

Might just be my ELO (Bronze) but the majority of my games are close with the odd steamroll and tbh LoL has more team balance than many of the other games I play.

This is excluding trolls/afks of course which have been a problem since forever

Riot doesn't want close matches. They purposely and even admitted they want the game snowbally as hell and its working as intended.

So sadly gotta suck it up or leave basically. In their all knowing views, they made the game pathetically boring since its either stomp, get stomped, or farmvile for 30minutes then 1 teamfight and it ends.

Hard to find in MOBAs.

I think that the matchmaking is worse in DOTA.

This is why riot is trying to force premade fives down our throats. So that we can all have fun with a group of people we know we like, while they get to be lazy about fixing allll the problems this game has.

I just got out of bot game featuring an AFK Varus, a "100% a bot without question" Cho, and a Teemo who was probably stoned based on his 10 second reaction times

But Riot won't ban any of them. How would they claim to be the "world's most popular game" if it were revealed that 30% of their playerbase it bots and trolls, and another 20% is smurf accounts that people use to make the new player experience absolute garbage?

This won't happen unless you play a solo game, all online games don't have that...

With hotheaded players you can at least mute chat. Evenly matched ones, however... Not happening in dynamic queue.

Nobody is level-headed all the time.

It's a little absurd to think people are toxic for going off every so often.

As far as evenly matched teams, you aren't going to be able to find that consistently under DQ
