Dear high elo players

When you smurf how stupid do you assume your teammates are?

I frequently smurf and I find that despite being consistently high plat on every account, I still lose quite a lot of games in gold and silver.

Many times I make the correct play only to find out that my team has chosen to make zero plays. Sometimes I'm pretty sure they're not even looking at their screen.

For example, as Morgana I landed a binding on an adc in bot lane and I was ignited. I barely died to ignite ticks and we get a kill on the adc. I look at my ADC. Boom. She has all sums up. Didn't even bother pressing heal. Had she healed we would have had a 2 for 0. Instead she dies moments later and we trade 1 for 2.

So my play ended up being bad because I made the assumption my gold 1 adc player knew what the spell "heal" does.

So my question is: Should I only make plays that I can secure 100% on my own regardless of whether my teammates are afk or not?

Another example.

I gank bot lane and get a double kill. Their jungle is top side. Their mid is dead. This is a free dragon. I ping it and start it. My adc doesn't rotate to the dragon and we kill it too slowly and die. Had he enabled his minimap the dragon was free. Instead he had to secure a few cs in lane.

Should I just not make any plays ever because I don't know if my teammates have their monitors turned on? I'm truly just baffled.

What do you guys do when you smurf? (I'm talking to high diamond/masters etc.)

If you're really smurfing aren't you supposed to play 1v9 champs or afk split push(done properly ofc given your superior knowledge) ?

assume anyone in plat or lower is tilted, dont look at minimap cause they dont know how to read maps, or just isn't good.

Objective focused plays will get you wins. Supports just need to always adjust their playstyle to their teammates. You have to play into that elo. For example, high elo players might expect the enemy to sidestep a hook. In low elo, you might be better off just throwing a straight hook because players do just walk forward sometimes. If you flash in and stun as Leona at lv.2 but your adc doesn't react, you might either have to pull back your aggression or ping them ahead of time. Low elo players don't play the lv.2 game that well. You have to make plays that are easy to understand for that elo.

As diamond 2 support main i tried to support gold elo just to see what it feels like. On your question ( how stupid do you think people are? ) A LOT ... My adc ran it down because i was roaming and warding.... I played 6 games 5 of them the adc ragequit because he had no idea what is he doing....
