Can we have auto lock in for champion selection again?

I'm ok with locking in the bans, that's not too much of an issue.

But do we really HAVE to manually lock in our champions after we have them selected (not pre-selected)?? I had to make a last second change and wasn't able to lock in in time. Got booted. Next queue, friend also accidentally missed the lock in.

Been trying to play for 20 minutes because of such silly mistakes - not only by me, but other people, too. Queue times are getting ridiculously long because of people forgetting to lock in. Obviously this was never an issue with the old queue... it just auto-locked your current pick. I would like that auto-lock back in the queues....

Thoughts?

EDIT: Can downvoters please reply? I'm interested in why you don't want this feature back.

YES wtf.. I've done this 3 times now out of 10 ranked queues. I now have a 25 minute wait time. If this is effecting my ELO that's BS because there needs to be a buffer period where people get used to the new system. And it should just skip your ban if you don't lock it in.

This is legit the most annoying change ever to come into this game. Having to wait 5 minutes between queues because I forgot to click a stupid button that I've never had to click the last 5 years I've played this game is some aggravating bullshit. It adds absolutely nothing to the champ select process.

why not lock in then switch everything you have plenty of time after a lock in.
