As Caitlyn, I set several traps in front of our inhibitor turret, and an enemy Vayne stepped on one of my traps and was killed by my team (I did not attack her). I didn't get an assist for that kill.
I imagine this is because traps do 0 damage by themselves. Intentional or bug? I feel like the snare is worthy of an assist.
it definitely is because they deal 0 damage, there are other abilities that deal 0 damage that have the same issue, I forgot which exactly but the issue has been around for a long time now.
I've gotten assists because an enemy was in the vision radius of one of my seeds (zyra), but you're telling me u can't get an assist from locking down an enemy? It's basically like lux or morgs q minus the damage.
