How to make the new Fiora able to jungle

NA Darklarik··23 votes·1,802 views

New fiora cant jungle to save her life, video proof. Old one can.

Solution: Make her passive appear on Large Monsters, and have the heal from hitting it double.

Done. She can now jungle relatively well.

Riot, please, i know you want her to be a Top laner but this is a super simple change that dosent affect her Top and would let her jungle, as a Jungler, id really like to play her.

i dont think she needs even double the heal. since the passive pops up periodically, just having it should be enough. especially since she gets some extra damage along with it, which means faster clear and less damage taken.

She actually kinda does... her lack of Att Speed (from E changes) makes a big difference in her clear. The extra sustain would allow her to jungle without problems.

think about it. the next passive appears after like half a second, after you pop the first one? now let it go through your head how this will play out on y jungle clear for a moment.

she gets health return at least once every second while fighting a camp, and a couple of extra hits with ~3% to 4% max health true damage that she doesnt get now. that should be enough to speed up the clear and have her take less damage at the same time. because a faster clear means less damage taken on a camp.

it seems like a slight difference, but should have a pretty good impact. i mean try jungling without flat armor runes, and see what kind of difference those 9 armor make. its a small value, but makes a lot of difference.

They did it for Nidalee, who wasn't even considered a jungler back in the day. They should do it for Fiora as well.

My very first thread was asking to have her (old/current) passive stack on large monsters up to 4 like it does on champions so that she could jungle, so I like this idea :3

How about Riposte always stunning a large monster?

Unnecessary. Just by changing this passive she'd already be able to jungle comfortably.

I really don't think she needs double the heal. In fact, I'm certain she doesn't. Have you seen the numbers on it? It's huge. If her passive worked on large monsters, she'd out-sustain every other jungler by a wide margin just with that. It would probably be OP.

That would certainly help her clear camp. But would that actually be enough to make her a decent Jungler?

Because her new kit is more focused on Dueling, She does not have the burst that made her that good in a gank. Unless it was made to completely refocus her Jungling patterns towards a different end goal.

She would be able to clear well, thats what matters. Your looking at step C when where discussing Step A, allowing her to clear. After thats done and shes actually playable wed be able to actually see in what aspect of the jungle she excels at.

What I saw from the video is that an auto attack based champion got the auto attack buff first and succeeded in killing the red and blue buffs. .-.

What you saw, is Fiora being FORCED to start at a pre-ditermined location or DIE. And her 'clear' left her with less than 100hp and almost dead.

That isnt clearing the jungle. Thats sucking. She cant clear, even a Tank can invade her an F'er up, and the way her kit works that would put her a million years behind, not to mention her subsequent clears would suck. She would only be able to clear 2-3 camps, wasting ton of money on potions, having to constantly back.

That aint jungling. Thats masochism and suffering

Sounds like Riot doesn't want her to jungle so its working as intended and you can't take others opinions without resorting to basic fallacies. Not exactly off to a good start

Saying that jungling sounds like masochism and suffering isnt an constructive opinion or something that contributes to the discussion, hence why you deserved an equally stupid answer.

Firstly, my comment was an attempt at humor. I apologize that I didn't make that clear enough.

Secondly, I like to play some tank junglers like Sejuani, who have pretty poor starts. I do however also play some Udyr, but not every jungler is Udyr and not every jungler needs/has a good start.

Thirdly, even if Fiora could survive the early clear well I doubt she would be a decent jungler anyway (aside from counterjungling). Her ganks would not be fantastic with one slow and her passive having a delay on appearing on her target (without ult), so she can not only not hold them down very long but also can't really burst them that well. Her counterjungling would likely be better, but I am not sure on whether that would be worth it to not have someone like Rek'Sai or Lee SIn instead.

What spot she can fill remains to be seen, yes she lacks some inherent traits of classic junglers such as quick clear and she wouldent be the best ganker. But she would scale like a beast and can duel like a boss. Plus, her ult in teamgfights would be insane.

If you want the late game out of her in your team comp it is probably a better choice to put her in a lane and have a jungler that can help her get to that stage (like Nautilus, Gragas or Sion) so you have a decent jungler early on and a powerhouse late game.

There could be times where you want to shove her into the jungle, but I don't see it as anything other than an exceptionally niche pick (probably just for the heal zone) because there are champs that will do her role but better in the jungle even with your recommended change.

OBVIOUSLY shes more optimal in a lane, BUT having the option to go jungle increases her versatility and she can duel quite fiercely. Not to mention, her Q E combo could actually make for some optimal good ganks. Yes, shes situational, but shes got potential.

But first the important, she need sto be able to clear period :P
