Riot, Rengar REALLY doesn't have any counterplay.

He doesn't. If he has the stats to kill you, you're dead. Instantly. I'm speaking from the point of a view of an immobile mage in the midst of my team with Zhonya's Hourglass. I can't move my finger to the button before I'm dead.

Edit: Before I get all these posts from people telling me how bad of a player I am, please look me up first. I'm not horrible. Perhaps I'm not getting through to you because it's just text, but in game, I AM blowing up in less than 0.5 seconds. I am a Platinum player. And no, I'm not fifty levels behind. I didn't even lane against him. Rengar has minimal, if any, counterplay when he's sufficiently ahead, and that's as direct as I can put it.

I actually had exhaust. First time I tried to exhaust him before I died. Couldn't reach the button. Second time I tried to Zhonya before I died. Didn't reach it either.

That would be a fault of your own being bad. Rengar has almost no engage early game because jungle fights are rare and he doesn't have six. If he doesn't have a good early game which is the hardest part of Rengar he falls back really fast. The only early game thing he has is sustain. But honestly Rengar is not overpowered in the slightest. Try watching Rengars across more than one game then come back. Also learn how to press buttons.

No, it's not his fault, there are many cases of Rengars killing people in 0.2~0.5 seconds. That is too small of a window for an average actual human being to properly respond.

it's just your fault and of your team. When you see the !, just get ready and when He jump, because you can see him at the beginning of the jump, just press Zhonyas and see how your team delete him

I've played against 2 Rengars in the past couple of days as Vayne, and after i got absolutely blown up once like you mentioned, I started doing some things. I watched for the ! above my head, and i got ready for it. If i van Vayne ult + tumble out of a Rengar ult while he's still in the air in low silver, i think you can hit zhonyas if you're anticipating it.
