But i played probably at least 30 games with Rek'sai, most ended with me stomping because the champion just has too much damage.

Junkο1 votesWhen did i say i ever played against Rek'sai. I played AS Rek'sai. She simply deals way too much damage compared to other junglers who have the same amount of tankiness and AoE while having stronger sustain and better CC.

She gains very little from this power. You'd probably say this about anyone that has a healing power if they were played top. It's not "toxic" in any way. Her power came from her Q bursts which they massively lowered now.
FLY Slotmachiner3 votesI don't think Rek'Sai really needs a nerf anymore after this recent patch; people just need to get a grip when a champion can actually do well against other champions. I am not disagreeing that Rek'Sai is pain to go against, but she is kinda balanced IMO, and to be fair to Riot, all of their new releases are all balanced from Vel'Koz Up.

PrinceArchie2 votesRek'Sai top is definitely more of a problem than Rek Sai Jungle for a lot of people, generally because Melee Top Mains will get rekt with reckless abandon. She has Range poke, pretty strong dueling potential in her autos and she can burrow away for basically a better Garen Health Regen passive. She also can tunnel away and successfully avoid ganks. She has a lot in her kit to be a very oppressive Top laner more so than a jungler honestly.

She gets a fuck ton of sustain for free in top lane and is generally pretty safe. Can rush ravenous and outduel and outburst most things there. Can poke pretty well from behind as well.

However he is still really complex, your Q changes every 3 hits, your E has almost no CD but has a target specific CD, his ult has a restriction and his Q and E are uneffected by CDR. When you compare it to let's Kass, yeah he is really complex.

Junkο1 votesI rather have all these new complex champs come out. Using EQWR as Talon instantly and getting a kill early game isn't satisfying. Using tunnels as Rek'sai is... until you get so fed you instakill people anyway.
Using Yasuo's or Azir's kit to make cool outplays and kill somebody also feels satisfying, pressing QWEQWEQWE as Ryze doesn't.
Plus there are enough simple champs in game already. For ADCs you have quite a ton, Ashe MF, Graves... For assassins you have Talon, for anti mages you have Kass, for tanks you have Garen, etc...

Knight SoIaire 1 votesthe thing is that those champs (yasuo or rek sai) have unique functions that are core to them and those f unctions prove to be toxic in some spots riot guts anything else to preserve their uniquess instead of making them like heca j4 vi trio, those guys are just insanely similar (gapcloser with cc on basic skill, gapcloser with cc on ult, main role tanky initiator/ carry chaser, they difer in some characteristics but they are like 3 diferent ways of making a champ with one role)
Junkο1 votesI don't think the heal is really an unique function on Rek'sai, Tryndamere has a similar thing, and many other champions like Garen have passive health regen too.
Yasuo's shield is not unique either, Malphite has a shield passive as well. Riot could have easily nerfed the shield or removed it instead of reducing his base health and damage (he is mADC the damage should have been the unique feature)

gap closing cc = amazing synergy with her jungler
tunnels= she can escape. she can split, and you wont catch her.
TP + ult = she will out roam any top laner.
on top of this, she can duel very well with her AA's from her kit. She does very well in extended trades, and in short ones.
without jungle help, she is so oppressive.
sure, she is great in the jungle. but she can scale better top and is pretty tough to face.
