FQC is still bullshit
Skillshots get their name from usually taking some prediction and luck to land. FQC completely removes this for a key ability like Dark Binding.
And on top of this it further promotes league of gapclosers for obvious reasons

That's why it's getting multiple nerfs. I think the next one is increasing the cooldown to 90 sec from 60 sec. Unless that change already went on live.

You know what's funny? Twin Shadows was a better item, but nobody ever built it. I guess people are really missing those green wards in the shop. If it makes you feel any better, the patch going live in about an hour is going to increase the active cooldown by 50%.
The problem with nerfing it is that it will probably just outright kill most AP supports. As a class they're already struggling.
You serious? Frost Queen's Claim has two more confirmed nerfs on the way.

Well I would rather they buff trinkets or bring back green wards than just nerf FQC. I'm fairly certain the item is in such high demand simply because midlaners (who are gankable from every angle) are tired of not knowing if there are enemies in the jungle, the lane slow is just a plus.
It would be so easy for them to balance this item, but instead they're just going to nerf it until not even supports want to take it anymore. And Riot wonders why people don't like playing support, maybe it's because their build paths are instantly trashed anytime they're made semi-decent.

Oh please, a single dark binding every 60-90 seconds is about as dangerous as the 1% crit rune. Which is moderately dangerous.
FQC wouldn't exist if it weren't for the 9000 dashes that made point and click abilities much better, to the point where Sona beats Xerath against every single assassin in the game. It's because of the ridiculous mobility issues this game has, not a single item that happens to fix this problem too well without alternatives.
