Odd request from a Darius player: reward opponents for skillful play?

In the spirit of 'if you can't beat them, join them" I picked up darius a while back and, he's already a monster in lane against almost any melee champ, but i've noticed something recently that i think would be nice to change.

Recent qss changes mean that you can't clense blood stacks (thanks by the way), however, Darius ult is the only one i know whose cooldown gets instantly reset if someone finds a way to dodge it.

Examples: shaco ult, ekko ult, zed ult, zhoynas.

If darius tries to ult someone and they use any of these abilities, the damage on his ult stops... and then he can instantly ult again. If it was a caitlyn, and you interrupted her ult, it goes on cooldown for like 5 seconds. But as darius i can literally just ult them again the instant they are targetable.

This may seem kinda odd that i'm asking for some mercy for my opponents, but I think it takes a lot of skill/planning to predict when darius is going to ult (it's a very short animation) and i think it would be nice to reward players that manage to evade the damage, maybe put the execute on a 5-10 second cooldown? so if they manage to evade in that brief window, they have some time to fight back instead of just wasting a cooldown to die 2 seconds later

Um no. Darius ult isn't that hard to dodge if you have the means.

It's no different than with garen's ult (which acts very similar to darius' only with a little more damage but no reset) which also doesn't go on CD if the cast isn't finished.

If these execute ults went on CD if they were never completed that would severely hurt these champions. Darius already has a lot of outplay potential based on his lack of mobility and short range (his E being his only mediocre ranged tool that he has to stick to champions).

My mans the D man is sitting at a 50% win rate. He is one of the most balanced champions in the game. There is no need for this nerf.

I'm also a Darius player. And yes, you can beat him. He has clear strengths and weaknesses. So in the spirit of "you're wrong" I'm not joining with you on this horrific nerf proposal.

This sounds like a nice idea, though I'd honestly consider a 3-5 second CD if it's dodged; this gives the opponent a little bit of a lead, but makes Darius still scary. He can, after all, still rake people close once they run, so the instant reset kind of nullifies the skill of counterplay to his ult.
