Item Concept

I was thinking about Rengar and how he has conditional mobility across the map. He has to be close to bushes to use it. What if a similar concept was applied to an item? It could give different effects based on what terrain / units you were around. If you're within x units of dragon, x effect applies. If you're within x units of an enemy turret, x effect applies. I feel like we do have this to a certain extent when it comes to the Point Runner effect from Raptor's Cloak (when close to ally turret, gain movement speed).

I think these items would be a good addition to the game, because it offers another layer of depth. Rengar does not have mobility outside of using bushes. When I think of how these items would affect a champion, I just imagine other champions having the same conditional effect as Rengar. What if Alistar could dive from bushes, too? I think having a situational / conditional effect tied to terrain/surroundings that any champion could have would be complex and strategic and healthy for the game.

If you've got some cool ideas to play around with, I'd like to see 'em.

It could be interesting, particularly if the effect didn't take a huge hit on gold effeciency of a given item. Maybe a jungler's Item that offered + MS and Armor/MR when near Dragon or Baron could be really handy. Basically it would be an objective control item sort of like raptor cloak (and the items it builds into), which would offer a situational item that could be beneficial as long as it has good gold efficiency excluding the effect, and is set at a nice gold value. Maybe close to Morellonomicon efficiency? IDK, it would require some balancing of course, but it could be interesting.

thats a good idea when near camps it reveals them and you can jump and or move fast when near them that would be a good one to use. defintly make for challenging at baron or drag easier and better. like 25 ad no cd 10% attack speed or flat arrmor and mr

I like the idea of offering flat stats near an objective. I don't think jungler items really need anymore diversity, though. Besides a few quips, I think the items are balanced right now. I'm really emphasizing the idea of an item that anyone could use. I also do not want the items to have mobility tied in with them.

Some things I would like to see:

An active ability on said item that changes based on what you're around (nexus, turret, dragon, baron) Vision control (not just gaining vision, but perhaps like a vision sap from a singular player) Auras based on where you're at on the map (river, bush, lane, dragon/baron pits) Giving turrets/baron/dragon increased power to make it difficult to take

what if the river slowed everyone down by 5% movement speed and a certain item made you immune to this... or a few of them, perhaps poachers jungle item could have this. on second thought high mobility dash champions have it easy enough. Nidalee Riven Kalista

I'd rather avoid mobility, since many champions lack it or have extreme amounts. I think it's mostly overused, and I was referring to more unique ideas.

i can defisnilty agree with this i mean your in a river you shouldnt move fast and no just becuase youir nami or fizz doesnt mean you are immune he is saying period any on on the river has decr4eased mpovent speed

the river idea could be 5 flat movement speed reduction as opposed to 5% slow. that would be more bearable.
