League has gotten better

I started playing in early season 3 and quit the game around season 6. I check in every once in a while because I miss how the game used to feel, where a lot of things were viable and you didn't die instantly in every teamfight. Seasons 6 7 and 8 were dumpsterfires balance wise but this year things have started looking up. I have seen a large variety of champions again in my games, and even looking at worlds highlights theres a lot of variety. Damage is still a bit high but not as absurd as it used to be, and I actually feel like playing again.

From what my friends say ( I started this year)

The game is fun, But the community is horrible.

I have to agree with them, Playing normal after getting to gold, the normal games are either troll or be trolled hard core. which has answered my question of " why don't people learn in normal" because why would you when you can speed lvl your account in ARAMS and then hop right into rank which isn't as toxic as normal ( give or take your rank)
