THE RANT

Being an adc and being in a scenario where your supp is amazing and you dominate, but your other team mates are feeding/wasting any lead they had, meanwhile you have 4 to 5 enemies in your lane. i do my best to deal with them, but my team mates arent taking towers or pushing objectives.

How do you get out of these situations on top with our current ranked system? Why does it punish you when you do carry more weight then your team mates. I understand that "if you were good it wouldnt be a problem" but i think there is a disconnect when people are trying to say your skill hasnt gone from point A to point B, therefore you still suck and deserve your rank. When in fact my skill has gone from point A to point B, but the requirement for ranking up in this system forces you to go from point A to point Z. Like, I feel the disconnect happens and is illustrated by the fact that some one in bronze can get through the system in a premade and a soloque player is left in the shitter because the system grades you based on people you have little to no means of communication with or connection to in the first place (in soloque). I am okay with that aspect of that being a challenge, but that being the only challenge in the aspect of a system designated as a measure of skill is ludicrous. I have seen people in bronze pull off some ridiculously amazing mechanical stuff and likewise I have watched a Team Liquid guy playing Jhin adc and wanted to punch that guy in the face for how shitty he was as a "pro" player. I feel the current system has a problem and needs work....

You just need to keep grinding. With DQ and current matchmaking faults, ranking is literally 100% luck.

I think there were always a lot of faults with the system but DQ is bringing them out . . . but ya your right.

Well, there's a number of ways to handle this. The real answer is to experiment and see what works for you and your unique playstyle, but I'll try and highlight a couple of options.

The first would be a hard pushing strategy. How well are you doing when five people come down to stop you? If you are doing rather well, even though you probably still die, you should adjust your build to better allow you to duel the entire enemy team. Look into higher than normal amounts of life steal and maybe look into Yomuus for the extra movement speed. Get a Zeal item or two while you're at it and put that movement/attack speed boost to good use.

Another would be to hard push your opponent's tower (with good warding) and immediately roam. Work on pushing down enemy towers rather than getting kills, and let yourself take a small hit to your cs. Focus on raw damage here and open up the map. Either you relieve pressure on your allies or you make it more dangerous for your opponents to push up, giving you a good chance for successful ganks. Particularly if you have a support with a movement speed boost you can become a map wide menace.

The last thing I can suggest is having your support heavily ward the enemy bot side jungle. Stall your lane as best as you can and farm up. With your support roaming for vision (safely I hope) you will start working on a lead in experience. Keep an eye on the timer for Dragon, along with opportunities to run into the enemy jungle and kill their jungler right before it spawns. It might not help you that much for the early and mid stages of the game, depending on which dragons spawn, but if you're doing well and you keep dragon control it can give you the late game boost your team needs to stay even with your opponents.

Just keep in mind that every time someone wins the lane phase someone else loses. Sometimes good players do lose, either to mistakes or being against a more skilled opponent. So long as they don't give up there is always a way to catch them up. If they fully lose morale, however, there isn't a whole lot you can do besides try and give them hope. I suggest you try to give them hope through actions, because words don't carry the same weight when given to someone who no longer cares.

None of this literally answers anything.

Pushing out solo and not grouping as an adc is a shitty Idea, your not top lane (i see u play top a lot).

Your supp is more than likely going to be trolling or complete shit, or both

your supp is amazing and you dominate

I like how you set up a situation and then go to the polar opposite when things are suggested.

Pushing out solo works all the time, particularly when you do it very early like I was talking about. That is, of course, if you're not an idiot and actually put in the effort to safely push. I do play a lot of top, and as such I actually put in the effort to learn it. It works in bot lane so long as you ward well and play smart.

That said there's really only one line of my post that matters, which you ignored.

The real answer is to experiment and see what works for you and your unique playstyle

how your support is doing was irrelevant, i just put it that specific way because i was talking from an actual game experience.

The point isnt that i was having a shitty time in bot it was the point i made at teh end . . . at the end . . . like where every point in every essay is brought together. . .

You asked a question, and I gave the best answer I could. I don't really see why you're replying to me in such a hostile way, I was only trying to help.

If you don't like posts like mine you don't actually have to respond to them you know.
