Is there a way to counter smurfing in clash?
My team yesterday went against what we agree was 100% had at least 3 smurfs. Is there a way league can counter this? I remember having to assign a phone number to my account, so doesnt that counter it?

Hire a better smurf for your own team.
well everyone one person usually has a phone don't they it just limits smurfing to one account, not to multiple
and that's implying they dont just go "hey bud let me use ur phone number for league rq"

Even if it wasnt easy, who said they needed to connect their main accounts when they’re gonna smurf?
Given that by rules you can be 2 divisions off your top acc... What do people even expect?
Become a challenger player, play the most broken hard carry you can find until you master it.
Riot doesnt care about smurfing. It's been ruining ranked for years and they do nothing. In fact they've been making it easier to smurf by reducing the amount of xp required to get to lvl 30 by like half and with first win of they day granting 400xp alone, you dont even have to grind to get a new smurf to 30.
Looks like more a result of your top / mid / jungle not being on the champions they are good at.
The only ones look like smurfs based on lack of significant ranked history on op.gg are the 
in the first game and the 
in the second. And based on the numbers put up in those game the Malphite just does not play ranked. Akali is definitely a smurf account though, 9/10 placements with great KDA and high CS.
But your top / mid / jg playing champions they are really not good at was a huge factor.
