warwick cant SMELL invis people because blood somehow loses its scent
but nidalee can see them if she hits them with a spear
but nidalee can see them if she hits them with a spear
Are you really citing realism as your argument in the same sentence you're talking about a talking wolf chasing invisible people?
Why do people always pull out the "realism" card when criticizing logical fantasy arguments? You do realize that a good deal of fantasy is simply "how would something work if this was possible". Look at something like DnD rules and tell me they aren't trying to be as "realistic" as possible outside of the fantasy rules they have added.
On topic, it makes sense to me from a gameplay perspective that Warwick can "see" invisible people with his blood tracking ability. Whats even the point if the ability if people can hide from it anyways?

Following your logic, what's the point of an invisibility/stealth spell if people can see you through it? Warwick can chase 99% of the hero roster with his blood scent, that's the point of the ability
While I completely agree that a fantasy world has its own rules to follow and that the "realism" card isn't a very good one in general, I still find myself agreeing with Burgee. There are some cases where, for the sake of game fairness and balance, you have to ignore the "realistic" problems any given ability might have. For example, Teemo has a blind, but realistically his Blinding Dart shouldn't affect Lee Sin, as Lee Sin doesn't have a problem getting about because he is already blind. But what kind of game would this be if we had people immune to certain spell effects? Should Lissandra be immune to any cold-related slowing effects because she is unaffected by the cold? Should Brand be immune to Annie's spells because he's literally a man of fire? No, and that's all because--despite it going against the "realism" of the setting--it would be randomly unfair and inconsistent.
And second, we all know that the "realism" is not really what this thread was made for. This thread was made to complain about Nidalee jungle. The boards are where people in general come to complain, and in this particular instance the OP has compared Warwick (relatively UP) to Nidalee (FotM) in order to get a point across. I don't think they give a damn about realism I think they just were playing Twitch or something and got beat by a Nid who had the ability to reveal him.
As a side note, no one complains about Corki's reveal ability. From a realistic standpoint, why should a bright burst of phosphorus reveal people who are magically invisible? Further, Corki's guesses don't have to be as precise, because its an AOE skill shot.
Probably something along the lines of the powdery residue clinging to them?
Ha ha sounds like a cartoon, where you throw flour on the guy using vanishing cream.
Oh! the within genre realism. Ok they have magic powers that cloak their scent too.
Of course! If a spear's stuck in someone, it doesn't stealth with them. Nidalee's spears aren't invisible!
...Wait a sec...
Here, have my like. Well done!
ITT we dont actually talk about whats wrong with Warwick, but rather how Nid's nuclear tipped spears have cloaking devices
How does warwick "smell" malphite?
He bleeds magma, which smells distinctly of sulfur.
The real question is, how can Nidalee see a enemy hit by her spear when they are either far away or behind her?
Inorite!
How does Amumu and Urgot walk around? How can Annie summon a magic bearmanthing. Or Swain transform!!!
The real question is, how can Nidalee see a enemy hit by her spear when they are either far away or behind her?
Seriously how could a champion see like 30'! It's warping the laws of physics it is.
Well, Amumu walks with his feet and Urgot uses his legs. Annie supposidly knows how to use magic and even tamed the bear in lore. And Swain is crazy about birds and knows a lot of magic, supposedly, and also likes birds...
Nidalee seems to be able to see the whole 360', is able to see through walls, and knows when someone had been hit by her traps from across the map. At least that's what I got from this post...
how about zac ? xD
That ones a little tougher to explain...
"That ain't no damn brimstone . . . "

Brimstone, sulfur.

How does warwick "smell" malphite?
How does darius make him "bleed" for that matter :P Answer: Suspended disbelief
What? The massive AoE reveal with unlimited duration and no use costs doesn't reveal stealthed champs? While the narrow, dodgeable skillshot with use costs DOES?!
UNTHINKABLE!!!!!
See, there's this funny ability Nid has, I don't know if you know of it, called Bushwack. It's a moderately damaging trap that lasts for two minutes, can't be removed other than by stepping on it, has a 900 cast range, reveals enemies hit for 4 seconds, and more or less doesn't have a mana cost. It's practically invisible in bushes, especially if you don't already have vision of the bush before entering it, and it just another tool that lets Nid exist as the safest, longest-range assassin in the game.
So...let me get this straight...if you face-check a bush...which nid has recently prepared with a trap...and happen to step on that trap due to your aforementioned idiocy...you get revealed?
Couldn't we just boil that down to: face-checking bushes can get you killed? I mean, the danger there isn't unique to Nid.
Thank god Nidalee isn't a meta jungler and can trap any bush she wants while walking through the jungle.
OH WAIT
Have you tried vision?
Her traps are still invisible in bushes
No, they're easy to miss. There's a difference. Her spears are sometimes invisible, but that's a bug.

Why are people downvoting him? Do you guys really want a champion with a 1500 / 2300 / 3100 / 3900 / 4700 range champion specific oracles on all hurt champions?
I'm starting to get the feeling that this is less of a "Warwick should have a thing" thread and more a "let's all bitch about Nid" thread.
But if we're going to complain about Nid, it just baffles me as to why THIS of all things would be our target of choice.

You do realize the MASSIVE AOE REVEAL only works on champs with 50% or lower health right? Meanwhile, Nidalee's reveals, chunks half your health, and sets up an excute, and gives bonus MS.
WW's massive AoE also gives (much higher) bonus MS.
And Nid's spear only works if the narrow, easily dodgeable skillshot hits you. Learn to dodge.
If you want to complain about Nid's spears doing too much damage, fine, we can have that discussion. Or one about her execute combo. Or about her impressive mobility, or range, or versatility.
But the comparison of WW's reveal to Nid's is just bloody absurd.

Fixed it for ya
Take it to Bug Reports, then.
WE have? lol?
Take it to bug reports more loudly. Make a stink about the bug, not this absurdist comparison to WW.

It really isnt be ause one champion can reveal other champions without them.needing.to be below health.
On top of.this, nidalee gets a 30% ms buff from.prowl. warwick needs.to level his bloodscent to rank 4 before it can surpass it
So the comprison is accurate. You are attempting to suggest warwicks is so.much better when this is not the case. Getting a 700 gap closer.on top of 30% ms from the brush does not make it worse than bloodscent
Whereas the other can reveal champions without even interacting with them. At all.
And gains up to 40% MS just by being within 4700 units of a champ at less than 50% health.
And as I've already said enough goddamn times before, other comparisons between these champions are irrelevant to the fact that WW's reveal affecting stealthed champs would be absolutely fucking absurd.

Invisibility is vision, scent is not affected by vision. Yes, ww is 40% at max rank, which is at level 18, with the other champion below 50%, and only 10% higher than nidalee.
The.comparison is absurb because nidalee has abilities that are on par if not superior to a rank 3 bloodscent on an immobile champ.
Ww interacts brcause he is an intiator, and works with his team so its interaction
Evelynn wears scent-neutralizing perfume. Spears hovering in the air are easy to spot.
We all know that nid's spears are invisible...
the champ is invisible, but the spear sticking out of his torso isn't, duhhh
A pigeon dropped a load on Malphite's shoulder awhile ago, malphite has no nose(that I know of), and never noticed.
WW smell rework! Champs at less than 50% health will leave behind a blood scent trail. As long as WW is within 800 units, he can "see" the trail (ignoring line of sight) and gains a movespeed boost.
Opinions?
800 units is really small for one of the abilities that defines warwick
there are dashes longer than 800 units
several ADC's have range steroids that are bigger than that
2000 is a minimum if the skill is to be successful
Graves buckshot shoots three shots when his gun only has two barrels. And his auto attack only shoots one projectile from those two barrels.
His auto attack is like that because it saves the extra shot for the buckshot. Duh
Jinx used to see invisible people that she hit with her ray gun.

Now they just die lol
I think that the problem here is that Nid's spears reveal stealthed champs, not that WW should have a passive oracle's.
Nid's spears reveal stealthed champs because:
A) You have to hit them. B) It's not a 5,500-range passive that affect every enemy. C) She's cool.
