I got a Yasuo Question

So I've recently started learning Yasuo and dare I say it... I'm not that bad. The one thing I don't understand is why a lot of Yasuos I see spam E and ride minions around the whole lane. I know people say it's to increase mobility and all that but I've found I can be just as efficient by farming heavily with Q and only using E to engage, escape, or to seize opportunities. Maybe it's just that the players I've been seeing in my games aren't as good and I don't need to E as often but what exactly is the point of riding the whole minion wave on Yasuo's E? Or is it just something Yasuos like to do to troll or flex. Also, being new the mechanics for the E are a little harder so maybe that plays a role but I've still felt like I do just fine as a Q heavy Yasuo.
