With Atma's finally dying a horrible, agonizing death, can we get an actual AD/Armor item?
We've got two AD/MR items, why isn't there any real AD/Armor option?
Pickaxe + Warden's Mail + Combine = item that steals attack speed when you get hit, maybe? That would make it kinda-sorta a counterpart to Wit's End.
Even if that idea is awful (it might be!) do you folks think an AD/Ar replacement would be a good idea? Or do melees need to continue suffering?

That's easy to fix.
Unique Passive Cold Steel: Reduces auto attacker's AS by 15% when they hit you.
Unique Passive (Melee Only): You steal the IAS foes lose from the Cold Steel passive.
Or something like that. Problem solved!

Remlap12233 votesWhy can't we just have Atma's back? It kinda makes me sad because I bulit in on quite a few of the champs I play when I wanted them to be tanky but with just a little bit of teeth. 
. I mean, Smite has multiple items that have attack scale off of protections and health and the game isn't broken. Why can't we do the same with League?

Kuroi861 votesIt's possible but I don't think the chances are likely. If we see an AD/AR item, expect something along the lines of 20Ad/50Ar or swapped, nothing really strong. The issue with Atma's is how well it would work with AD assassins and bruisers. Why it was nerfed and probably why it's going away.

Jungle Lux God1 votesA problem that I see with it is that it could make ADC's much too strong with it, and make it either have negligible stats of either kind or it would need to have some kind of drawback.
However, this kind of item could be really good for bruisers, especially considering we have good bruiser AD items in Hexdrinker, but needs to be tuned so it doesn't really affect ranged champs too much.
Something like this could work:
recipe: Pickaxe + Warden's Mail + gold stats: +AD +Armor Unique passive: Cold steel: When hit by basic attacks, reduce the attacker's attack speed by X %. Passive: Ranged Only: reduce your own attack speed by X %
This way, it is more useful on melee bruisers that this should be good on, and less good on the ranged carries that may also consider this item in the bot lane, as you would either reduce your late game damage output by a lot if you pick this up, and would slow down your build if you want to sell it later.

The problem with atma's isn't that it's ad/armor it's the health scaling passive
