Riot has no clue how to make items fair for both ranged/melee.

where is the logic in that?

do you understand how easy it is to understand the difference between melee and ranged?

the same goes for tabis.

why should a ranged champ get 10 percent less damage like a melee who actually has to use his cds to get near them?

every fucking item has been ruined by ranged champs abusing it.

black cleaver is a big item that they fucked over and riot did not make melee only in hopes that lucian mid could be as annoying as it is right now.

Melee champions has stronger skill sets than range champions. Just compare yasuo to ashe for example...

I agree with you... somewhat. I've been saying for a long time that I think league needs more items, and more of them need to be limited to either melee or ranged champs. Often items that are good on melee are downright OP on ranged champs, even if there's like a "ranged attacks only do 60%" limit on them.

I just feel like if there were a handful of ranged only items, and a handful of melee only items, it would be easier to balance tricky items for one type of champ or the other, rather than having to worry about cases where what's good for one is broken for the other.

Plus (and this is just a joke), it always seemed kind of dumb to me that the best items for ranged champions are almost all swords. What are they doing? Firing swords instead of arrows? [sg-lux-2]
