The final nail in the coffin for Mordekaiser...

Mordekaiser main here. I've been following the talks of Mordekaiser updates for a bit now, and was interested, and even excited in what they were going to do... But this.. This is so incredibly stupid that it even makes my brain hurt trying to fathom why they thought this was a good idea. If the balance team ever tried to play Mordekaiser as a support or ADC replacement, you would see that he just gets harassed out of lane, and is forced to hug the tower. What changes here are going to remedy this? Oh I can get a Dragon ghost! This change alone will make up for the rest of my nonexistent laning phase! And since we're going to be losing lane 95% of the time, we'll have more time to focus on getting the dragon ghost! lol. Mordekaiser has just been forced to play two roles that are 100% troll for him. Do you honestly think people are going to let you pick Morde instead of an ADC? Seriously? Mordekaiser has now become the champion equivalent of revive. Never in this game's lifetime did I think riot would make such a nonsensical balance change.

P.S. His movement speed was nerfed, Have fun being kited even more than before.(and lol at the E changes)

His creeping death heals him and his lane partner for a percentage of the damage it dealt now.

Also it seems to have a massively increased movement speed bonus.

Plus, his attack range and attack animation have been improved. And W has no health cost anymore.

You really, REALLY cannot make any judgments over the effectiveness or the rights and wrongs of Mordekaiser's new uh... ideals until he comes out. Until then. well. Probably shouldn't say a damn thing, less you looking like a fool once he comes out.

Wait for it to come out before saying whether you like it? Who needs to test changes anywyas, why not just release something to live immediately if you're not going to test it. I have no idea how your comment is getting upvoted.

I'm not saying that I enjoy the changes, I'm just saying that you cannot really make a proper judgement before the rework actually comes out offically.

I am hardly claiming to be proving a full in-depth analysis of the changes. Most people oppose the idea of the changes. You are saying that no one has the RIGHT to question the changes until they've already been released. I don't think you know why Riot use isolated testing environments before they release anything to live servers. If it has been released officially, and the champion was horrible, then there would be overwhelming backlash. And for two weeks aswell. Riot would be pressured to release a great fix in the next patch, and they could not mess it up. There's a reason for testing environments, and the live servers are not anywhere to test these changes first.

The dragon ghost is pretty ridiculous though. You can take any turret you want, and even use it to baron with your jungler.

The issue with that is that when your team is behind and can't get dragons, a HUGE part of Mordekaiser's kit becomes irrelevant.

if theres one thing i've learned over the years, its riot does as riot pleases. they've always stated for doing certain things "well its our focus too... or our objective was too... we felt like he just was..."

and they never ever state what it is they want a champion to be able to do, or accomplish, or label their strengths and weaknesses of what they're good at or whats good against them, if they did that they would be labeling %$^* tier.

they always end with, "we feel like its a step in the right direction to becoming healthy"

I loved morde and this is a huge nerf in cased in a " you get movement moving towards ally and a heal! plus a cool dragon" your heal wont do shit moving towards eachother wont do shit especially if you are trying to chase an enemy ( arent running towards eachother= no movementspeed) need to be standing ontop of eachother for the damage+ heal=LOL. lets change a complete bruiser into some complete uselessness but hide it under some fancy wording so people stupid enough will believe its good. this change is complete garbage and needs to be scrapped right away. if this goes live im done.
