Azir Guide from an Azir player

Azir is an amazing mid lane champion with one of a kind mechanics.

Azir's Q moves his sand soldiers to a target location - Use this to stick to targets rather than start with it

W Summons A Sand Soldier with a medium range of attack, if an auto attack target is in said range, the soldier will attack instead of Azir, dealing AP damage to the target.

E Azir dashes to the closest sand soldier, if Azir makes contact with an enemy champion during the dash, he will damage them and gain a small shield, interrupting the dash

Ultimate Azir summons X around of soldiers to dash forward, knocking up and away from the wall of soldiers, dealing damage and blocking enemy movement through the wall

Build

Start with dorans ring and 2 health potions Then begin building into After finishing Rylias get tier one boots and begin building Nashors Tooth On completion of Nashors Tooth get Sorcerers Shoes and home guard if you feel you need it Building is the next step At this phase you should begin building some defensive items, like Guardian Angel or to defend from the fed carry, an item like Randuins Omen

Combos Your basic combo is called the 1-2 screw you Start be right back placing a soldier behind your foe with your q, then dash to the soldier using your e, gaining a shield and doing damage, finish it with a second soldier to get your foe down

Your more advanced combo, the well-known Shurima Shuffle.

Start by placing a soldier in the fog of war it is important to not use your q to do it. Then stand out of the path of it if you were to use your Q, Use your Q and then your E as fast as possible, if done right your target will be damaged by both the Q and E and you gain a shield, finish them with a second soldier.

Your last need to know combo is the Inside Operation. Place your soldier behind your target if they are pushed up to a tower, DO NOT PLACE IT DIRECTLY BEHIND THEM follow up with a dash to the soldier and ult towards the tower, if done correctly your target is now under your tower taking damage and can be taken down
