Who do i main to be a one trick player? (One trick responses encouraged and welcomed!)
Hey guys,
I've peaked at plat 1 a few seasons ago, and now i'm pretty much a gold 5-platinum 4 player on a few accounts. I seem to have reached a point in my league life that the only reason im not climbing is that I'm bored. I pretty much hate the state of the game right now, but i'm going to stay loyal to it and figure out a way to get to diamond.
So I've pretty much tried everything... I played god tier meta champs, I've played champs I'm good at, I've played champs I just want to have fun with, I've been a 1 role only type of player. I've tried to one trick mutliple champs, and I've even tried just picking champs that go well with the current team comp my team picks. Always get bored or stuck in my climb.
After a lot of thinking, I've decided i want to be a one trick because i want to put all my effort into 1 champ and see how good i can become. Anyway, i've attempted multiple champs like Xayah, Jinx, Tahm Kench, and Vayne. Idk why I stopped with each, i guess a combination between boredom and flaws i find that i end up not wanting to deal with.
I made this post to ask for your help! your advice! anything you'd like to say to assist me on finally picking one champ and sticking with it til the end of the season. One tricks i encourage you to respond, anything y'all say will be helpful, thank you!
TLDR: Trying to be a one-trick player, can't figure out which champ to choose that i won't get bored with and that has a playstyle i enjoy. please comment advice or help, would be greatly appreciated! One-trick players especially welcome!
Teemo OTP.
Great at roaming, lots of fun.
. Also loads of fun.
Ekko is the king of capitalizing on other peoples mistakes. Very interactive play style and high skill cap.
Easy to pick up due to no skill shots, hard to play the higher you go though. He doesn't excel in any lane, but once you hit mid game he can become a monster.
Once they finish nerfing her, she'll be a great champ to master. Not overbearing with anyone taking her up, but great when played well (assuming they don't over nerf her).
Despite how much the boards hate him, he's actually really fun. Can be a monster in the right hands, but can also be worthless if you don't have a feel for him (well worthless to your team, the opponent will love you though!)
Versatile, and snowballs hard. Pretty good mobility and a lot of potential.
Not as popular at the moment, but she is a blast to play. Won't work in higher leagues, but if you're still in Gold try overextending at level 6 intentionally. When they come to gank 2v1 and spam taunt. Good stuff.
Really strong, really fun, hard to master. Can be a game changer though in the right hands.
May be hard to 1 trick with him being a common ban, but he's a great one to pick up as well.

are both doing alright at the moment. A 1 trick Lucian is very scary.
(and some other drawbacks I'm missing). Great fun picking off carries though at any given moment. Everyone says he blows, which eh he isn't meta, but Harambe made rank 7 challenger with him so its doable.
cause even tho I have like 960k mastery on the guy I learn new things all the time, also you can really show your skill with him. Especially when have those games where ur hooks are on point and u single handed carry the entire team with picks. If you get a dumbass brick of an adc you can peel them, net them easy kills, and position them yourself. You have no idea how many times im like "my adc is about to die in this team fight if she stands there." I will lantern and physically move them to an good spot, I also like his design a lot lol. There are also so many ways to play him. Although i love thresh, I also one trick
with like 250k mastery and
with 200k. I feel like you should one trick but have time invested in at least 3 more champs just in case your guy is taken.

. Note: I am not a cho'gath one trick. But the reason behind this is because cho is arguably the most useful and totally versatile while also being a team and solo operator.
Has a lot of viable build options that shift power around his kit and have a noticeable difference in damage tempo.
I have 1-tricked her since season 5 (although that's changed this season since her plants are fucking trash), starting as support, then top, then mid, and now mid/bot. In the past, her appeal was that she had enough innate damage to spend a few slots on utility. In top I would rush Liandry's > Void and then build sightstone, zzrot, banner, locket, or some other utility.
main for bootcamping positioning.
are good 1 trick ponies...if you build their kit and get fed...
because she is just a lot of fun to play as, and a pain in the ass to go against if you know what you’re doing. Her burst damage is really good, and once you get that first kill, you’ve popped off. She can be played top, mid, or jg. I really recommend trying her out
