90% of these players feed in lane, and have no damage later on
If you get autofilled or would just like to play a more carry oriented support .. play Veigar with the broken stun, or Velkoz, hell i'd even take Xerath..
but please, stop playing Lux support, I'm so tired of the enemy support carrying the game while you struggle to be useful.

As a support main, support lux is a valid support option and is a good support.
Even Aphromoo is going Lux support sometimes, it's good support. Problem is lot of autofilled people just play her as a botlane mage and not a support.

So what you're saying is that people who get filled into a position they don't like aren't good? Ok. But what does this have to do with Lux? Are you suggesting that if those same people picked Bard things would be better?
Lux isn't the problem here. And in the right hands she's a mega PITA.

She's picked more in KR high elo as a support with a decent winrate. I don't see an issue with people picking it.
As a Lux support main, I can say that she can be a great support if played in the right hands.
Of course, if players get auto-filled into support, then they're more likely to play her like an aggressive battle mage rather than a support. That's when the problems start. But please don't instantly write off any Lux supports you play with; not all who play Lux support don't know what they're doing and/or is autofilled.
While I can see your point, I also think you missed something out.
Most people don't BUILD her as a support. They still go full ap, Still max E first and clear your adc's wave, and still take barrier over exhaust to save their own asses at your expenses.
Problem with her isn't that she is a bad support, problem is a large part of people who play her as support are what's bad.

Lux has more consistent poke, along with a shield and a snare.
Vel'koz has a wonky knock up and Veigar falls off without the ability to cs or reliably gain AP.

I don't think it's the champions fault, pretty it's the autofilled support that knows nothing about how to play bot lane lol.
The recent adjustments made Lux much better as a support. Not necessarily a good option, but much closer to viable.
Full AP Lux support is garbage. With Twin Shadows, Censer, and Athene's, I don't see any reason to build midlane items anymore; that's a full build right there.

If lux gets to be a support so does Anivia. They have the same windows of opportunity and very similar peel potential.
