Why would you want people to lose thousands of dollars on their accounts? All that means is the developers can take thousands of dollars from people, and that is ripe for massive abuse. No other business works this way, and if it were actually taken to court, they would be put in their place and told "No" they don't have the right to take people's money for dumb shit like "toxicity".

I don't think it would be any different. None of the measures in place to stop anything in this game is making the game better. Look at the state of the game as is. It sucks, and these attempts to make our lives suck in League are not making it good. The punishments don't improve it, MMR doesn't improve it, perma bans don't improve it. There is no proof any of this improves any of the game at all, and people are leaving league in droves.

People BOT, don't you get it? People making bots isn't going to decrease, so smurfs won't either, so now what?

because so many others including my self already have and are more attached to the one account i have because of the hours i put into it. how is it fair to have someone pay pocket change to have a account leveled instantly when a lot of people again self included have spent that time on our accounts. there is no reason for this change you demand.

Ok technically you are allowed to purchase Level 30 accounts, at least from my knowledge (maybe they've changed now).

Under very specific circumstances. And you basically have to meet both. 1 - You are a certified pro player 2 - You want to buy that account in another server.

From there onwards, Riot can offer you an account either free or with payment (I'm not sure about whether it's free or not) around a few divisions or so below your main on your main server.

So if you're asking this, I'm very sure you don't qualify for either so it's a no go.

There's a reason why I used that word 'very' rather than 'absolutely'. How am I very sure that you're not a pro player? Well pro players know this as soon as they get put in a certified team, they're made aware of it by Riot themselves (at least back then, not sure about now) and since you made this thread you obviously don't know it. Could you actually be a pro player? Maybe Could you potentially have skipped over that portion of Riot's rules for pro players? Maybe Could this all be wrong and no accounts are purchasable ever anymore? Maybe I never said anything I said was set in stone.

He is arguing the price. At $5 is not profitable for Riot, since it makes more out of XP boost sells. And at profitable price, you just wouldn't pay it since you will rather keep buying cheap black market ones. Price probably would have to be around $35-$50 for a level 30 account

On a personal level, I don't want anything that makes smurfing easier. Can you imagine how many shitheads would use it just to evade the tiny bit of bite that the reporting system actually has?

On a business level, it makes no sense for Riot to sell accounts cheaply enough that anyone would want them. Free-to-play games that don't rely on microtransactions can exist because YOU are the product...you provide the most compelling part of their content; actual human players. To compensate for the loss of time you'd be putting into the game, they'd have to charge way more for accounts than anyone would pay.

Pure League newbies already being able to start playing rank, alongside those who've actually learned League by honestly leveling up since Level 1, and when the honest Level 30s knows what's top/jungle/mid/adc/support, on the other hand, they're stuck with League newbies who still builds AD Ryze and puts 1 Rank on each abilities each time they level up.
