Please do not play ranked this weekend stick to normals play ranked next season its to late for u all ur gonna do is be paired with other players who are tryuing to climb and because u arent as good as them ur gonna do reaally bad and make them lose

Cute Poro1 votesI never said it was practice, if they want to pick up ranked then let them. If they're level 30 and they feel comfortable enough to play ranked, why should the time be any different? They'll be bronze, if you aren't out of bronze by this time then you're with them and work together to make that final push.
There's no need to put others down and attempt to steer them away from a part of the game.

Waiting an additional week and practicing for the start of next season is not bad advise.

Dehitay1 votesIf you haven't gotten where you need to be by this point, then you've already been given plenty of time. Placements are actually rather useful to finish for good players as it's easy to get silver from a fresh account or a hard reset.

At the start of the season everything's way too chaotic for any new players to get a real feel where they belong and preseason doesn't do that either since people aren't really trying. So they have to wait months to get an actual feel of where they belong? also why are you assuming that new players are bronze? when i started playing and reached lvl 30 I played ranked and got placed in Silver and there are others who quickly after being placed get to gold or plat. New players aren't all bronze and there is no way of knowing what tier they are until they actually play

Someone that just turned level 30 is going to get placed in silver anyway, it doesn't mean they know what they are doing.

doesn't mean they don't know what they aren't doing either. I have never dropped once to bronze and have managed to climb to gold for two seasons straight with me playing less and less games with each season. I all keep saying this, right now is the best time for new players to get into ranked and get a feel of where they actually belong. They can be garbage bronze tier players or they can be gold+ players right off the bat, they won't know until they try

It's quite inconsiderate when there's people trying to get something they've been trying to get this season.
