It doesn't matter if they're on my team or not. I just can't let people get away with abusing a busted champion. You might think "Oh it's Riot's fault she's like that, don't blame the players" But that's not how it works, this is a two way street. Yes they did rework a problematic champion and made her even more toxic. Yes they did release it without any playtesting because they're that bad of a company.

But you know what's even worse? People use and abuse her. And for that, I think it's fair to report people who abuse champions that are broken. "But you can just ban her!" most people say, and to their credit that is true. But I prefer not to ban her, so that I can identify Akali abusers. Win, lose, or otherwise they're getting that report.

This game is already bad enough, but if you abuse champions that are clearly busted? Get that ass banned.

its funny you actually think this is a bannable offense. akali was never really that strong to begin with, just had one extremely frustraiting ability that caused people to ban her alot. win rates dot mean a whole lot but they still do matter and i dont think she ever got above 45%

Honestly, it's not a matter of if they'll get banned or not. It's a matter of principle, standing up for what is right, and acting on the intention of making a difference. At the end of the day, I may well be wasting my time but at least here I am catching someone's attention either through my posts or through my reports. I just hope that others follow suit and join my cause.

the only attention youre going to get is people thinking that youre an idiot. reporting people for playing a champ that they want to play because you dont like them is low and dirty. there is nothing wrong with playing a strong pick to begin with, people do it all the time in any type of game. Be it cell or bardock in dbfz or bayonetta in smash 4 or whatever. people want to win and some people just like that character. no use in arguing with you though because youll never change plus your reports mean nothing anyways

Well if we are talking about WRs as far as akali still has a delta of 56% meaning her 45% WR simply means low elo/ people new to playing her are doing bad, not that she is somehow weak. As far as champions go she still has a slightly above average delta, she is far from weak in the hands of people who actually know how to play her and if you seen a decent one you would also see that as well.

I can and I will because I care deeply about the game, unlike other people. And it really pains me to have to go through such extreme measures, believe me I don't want to have to do this, but people deserve to play a fair game and if you're going to abuse a clearly broken champion then I'm afraid I'm going to have to do something about it. Plain and simple, if I see you pick Akali, I'm going to have to report you. There's no logical reasoning for me to not do otherwise.

So far I've yet to see any real counter-arguments against what I've been doing.

It's cute that you think you are "doing something about it". Your "real counter arguments" are written in the Summoner's code where it's clearly outlined what is a bannable offense and what isn't.

Also, I hope you like your reports having no weight anymore due to spamming worthless ones. Think about that next time you report a dude in your team running down mid with a 0/20 score and the system automatically disregards your report as probably false.

Here's your problem. You think the champion is busted. She is not busted. Just REALLY not fun to play against. If you want to know how to beat her. Don't fight her while she has her shroud. It has a long cooldown. Plus without it she is EASILY blown up. I destroy Akalis with freaking Teemo. Teemo. Because 1. I outrange her. 2. She can't all in me if I don't give her a reason to. 3. She can't get a reason to all in me if she can't touch me. She shrouds. I back away. Simple. If she wants to even think about engaging on me she has to throw he only long ranged skill shot from a mile away giving me maximum time to dodge it. Then I poke her down more and more and it gets to the point that I am building a lead and she can't cs without getting chunked by a blinding dart which her shroud can't fizzle out anymore since her shroud got nerfed. If she roams, I ping the shit out of my teammates to warn them. If they get killed by her because they didn't listen to the ping then that's completely their fault. If you get killed by her, then that is YOUR fault.

Also the fact that you report someone just for playing champ makes you really toxic.

Release Xin could be countered if you play smart and try not to fight him head on. It's the same argument, oh look they have a weakness and here's what you do. The argument doesn't change the facts. Having counterplay does not equal balance.

The balance is don't be stupid and they won't get ahead. If they don't get ahead then they can't snowball. You can call any champion unbalanced but it all depends on how you play. I'd say the only way something is completely unbalanced is if there is 100% no way to be able to play against it with ANY champion and can 1v5 your whole team no matter what the circumstance which Akali can't do unless you straight up feed her and even then hitting her with some hard cc screws her over hard.

You know she was nerfed and has held a pretty tight 44% winrate... So shes not even been that great. Sure, 1 out of 20 games you may see a really good one but they aren't all gods.

Congrats the only thing you are achieving is making your reports weight less and less the more you do this. Riot won't ban the akali players since playing akali is not a bannable offense. So all that will happen is that your reports will be completely ignored when you start reporting people for actual bannable things

Akali may be a toxic champion and all, but it's in no way the players' fault and besides Akali isn't even meta much due to the changes now. You can blame CertainlyT and his toxic design mindset.

But keep in mind there are Akali mains who play her even before the rework.

And those who don't main a champion then they are basically playing what is meta. How is that reportable?

If anything you're just reporting for literally nothing. I mean what the hell will you gain? A "the Akali player you reported got perma banned! Thank you for helping us fight toxicity!"???

I understand your hatred toward the champion, but this doesn't mean you should last out and like attack the players or whatever.

If anything, take all your rage on CT. That's more logical really (doesn't mean you should make CT hate threads btw).
