How come the Windspeaker's Blessing doesn't apply to yourself?

I MEANT THE ARMOR AND MAGIC RESIST BUFF

I don't see how much of a problem that would be. Other than Soraka of course lol.

I think Riot had a statement to this a while ago. Something about Garen and Mundo.

Tanks and bruisers with self-heals, I'm guessing?

Especially since bruisers build HP more than other resists... yeah...

I mean it would be a waste if a top laner took it instead. There is Grasp of the Undying.

Let's see: Darius Fiora Vladimir Swain Aatrox Ahri Xin Zhao Cassiopeia Cho'Gath Nunu Mundo Garen Ekko Fiddlesticks Hecarim Illaoi Irelia Kindred Lux Lulu Blitzcrank Evelynn Gangplank Gragas Janna Karma Lee Sin Mordekaiser Morgana Nami Nautilus Nidalee Orianna Poppy Renekton Riven Rumble Ryze Shen Sona Soraka Tahm Kench Taric Udyr Urgot Viktor Vi Yasuo Zac and Zilean This is a list of all champions to my knowledge that can actually self heal or self shield through what is not strictly regeneration. This list of champions would be able to trigger the Windspeaker's on themselves and make themselves that much more tanky, which would absolutely break some champs like Vi, Garen, Poppy, and Darius. This is why there is no self-trigger on Windspeaker.

Because it's a support mastery (support =/= self). If you want a tank mastery, go get the tank mastery.
