How I'd change the new Akali

Q: Five Point Strike

  • Range indicator shrunk to match spell's actual range.

On live, the range indicator accurately depicts where the daggers drop with the arrows in the indicator, but for some reason depicts the spell as reaching about 50 units past that.

Seeing as the spells range ends where those daggers land, this doesn't make a great deal of sense.

E: Shuriken Flip

  • If the target opens a gap of at least 4000 units from Akali, the mark will fall off. This does not apply if you have your Twilight Shroud marked.
  • Akali can now cancel Shuriken Flip's second activation with Perfect Execution or Twilight Shroud.

Following enemies through their TP's (Or recalls, as the case may be) is a bit much. Warwick has to time it precisely, so I can let it slide for him (though I'm not 100% sold on him following a TP either), but Akali has no such requirement.

In compensation, I've given her a way of cancelling E2 without having to burn flash. This should help Silver Akali's with their newfound Lee Syndrome, but it also expands her skill ceiling a good bit.

R: Perfect Execution

  • Second activation minimum base damage decreased from 120/180/240 to 80/160/240
  • Second activation maximum base damage decreased from 300/450/600 to 200/400/600

A cool spell. I enjoy using it. The numbers, however, are just too damn high at early ranks. As such, the second activation now does less damage at its first and second ranks, scaling up to live values at rank 3.

I think the healing isn't as good too tbh, before you could sustain pretty well now you can sustain if you hold lots of Q's which is the polar opposite of old akali whose passive actually let her passively heal Maybe if she healed for a flat amount while above x energy because not having a heal that is reliable is a pain in the ass

You can get some pretty good sustain if you work your W into your waveclear to get multiple high energy Q's, but that does leave you somewhat vulnerable.
