Why did riot create the meta for tristana?

The nerf to zeal hurt all adcs besides tristana. Because her q is excellent attack speed steroid.
The nerf to bloodthirster hurt all adcs besides tristana. That 20 extra ad is the edge they had over her and needed to kill her mediocre ad scaling. Now with the bloodthister nerf tristanas passive makes her dominate the rest of the adcs. Also the passive to the new bloodthirster helps her the most out of all the other adcs because of her high base help and amazing escapes.

It really comes to no surprise why she won lcs and why she is banned every single game. Riot are you going to neuter her kit or change the items arounds?

Why did riot create the meta for tristana?

Riot lists a lot of their logic in patch notes.

Big one for that change was that Caster marksman like Corki, and later Ezreal and Lucian were the top marksman picks every single season. Lucian especially was shaping up to be -the- best marksman for this season.

Riot wanted late-game, auto-attacking marksman to be the marksman of choice. Considering "marksman" tends to mean late-game auto-attacker, that makes a lot of sense.

Having the most AA reliant class dominated by Casters for 3 seasons running also calls a lot of champion design into question.

If you'll notice, the patch Riot nerffed caster marksman itemization in also saw a nerf to Warden's Mail and Randuin's Omen %AS slows.

Also - a solid 50% of marksman in LoL are as auto-attack reliant as Tristana. She hasn't risen to the top because nobody else benefited from the changes, she just rose to the top because she benefited from the itemization choices slightly more than the next guy. That's how meta's work - top picks aren't top picks because there's a valley in power between the #1 and #4 positions, it's because everyone wants to play the #1 champ.

why are you crying about it ? i mean ... every season we get something similar, one change makes those guys rise the other change makes other guys rise, but the adc's were given only one change as a class and its the effect

in before people realize that lucien, graves, and draven are massively superior to tristana ( well lucien is already there, and vman7 already showing of the graves)

Also it might be me, but why do people keep building BT on Tristana? BoRK is just so much better, especially in dealing with tanks. She has no AD ratios on her abilities at all. She's one of the few champions that can reach 2.5 Attack speed, which works wonders with BoRK.

Because about 30% of BotRK's power is in its active, which is pretty much wasted with her range. And using BotRK as her attack speed item denies her crit; build it + PD item puts her over attack speed cap with Q up. Especially after changes.

Which is why you only buy it if they're building health.
