A Price Barrier for Ranked

Ok so...after 5 games in a row of extremely toxic and rude players, I came to a conclusion: There are not severe enough repercussion for being reported or banned. Think about it. A player in bronze (home of the troll and feeders) get banned...so what? They didnt work to get to bronze. They didnt do anything special to get to bronze except spend a week or 2 getting to lvl 30. Then they are right back in bronze, making life miserable for players who really want to get better. There is a simple solution. If you want to play ranked, you have to buy a ranked pass. Nothing extreme, But i would pay $15 to play ranked for a whole year, AND riot could make exclusive content for people who do want to participate in ranked, like exclusive skins or something. EVERY OTHER GAME MODE WOULD REMAIN FREE for casual players. But this is the only game i play (besides dark souls), and I would very much enjoy, at the very least, a 50% reduction in the amount of trolls and feeders...just a thought. I have a feeling that, the people who really play the game, wouldn't mind $15 PER YEAR to have a more pleasant experience and some exclusive stuff.

What do you guys thing?

edit: ok so not such a good idea apparently...how do you reccomend RIOT fix the increasing amount of toxicity and trolling in the game? I dont care if someone flames me...its whatever and i can mute them. But i cannot mute someones gameplay if they decide to give up after 5 min because the enemy team got first blood.

edit 2: I have read from a few different sources, and hear from a few players, that this season is the worst season for feeders and toxic people ever. I almost convinced 2 of my friends to play, but after about 15 games, they uninstalled because they were constantly flamed and not helped but berrated

I'm sorry, I thought this game was Free-To-Play.

It's not a Subscription-Based MOBA.

That is a antiquated subscription based model. That worked in the early 2000's but with a plethora of games crowding the market has quickly caused large player bases to migrate. The merchandise based model draws far more players and money. Furthermore that will not solve ur core issue. You must be the new generation of gamers. Gaming has always been filled with toxicity and trolling. There are features embedded in the game for people who are sensitive, such as the mute button. A far better solution would be for you to develop the skill set to not allow written words from complete strangers cognitively and emotionally effect you. This skill set that gaming helps you develop goes far beyond the gaming world and is a great real life skill set to have.

This won't work because

  1. People will just move to other Mobas/games that don't have a paywall

  2. Might actually INCREASE toxicity because now people are paying money and they see people troll anyway, they're going to be mad.

Most games that have this change have died from what I can tell. I myself am competitive. I'm not good enough to be high level, but I'm trying to get up there. But, if Riot asks me to pay to play, I won't play League anymore.

no it wouldn't help. infact i would probably quit league of they did that (and i have spend over $200 on skins over my 4 years) what would help is if riot didnt keep putting people in silver and gold thier first season. NO ONE is silver or gold thier first season. NO ONE has the game knoweledge of what it would take to CLIMB out of bronze to silver the instant they start ranked. why should player who got demoted from silver and gold to bronze from the demotion riot does EVERY season have to put up with these people.. AFTER they climbed out of bronze.

even i was placed into silver 1 in season 3... i can tell you for sure.. i sure as hell was not good enough to be silver back then.

season 4 i climbed to silver easily. because i LEARNED.
