For Those of Us Who Won Most or All of their Placements to be Bronze 5 (Moved from E-sports)
Re-posted, apparently E-Sports was the wrong Sub.
I submitted a ticket on the subject and got an answer from CHARLIE SABER from player support that blankets all of us, so I thought I'd place it here for you. Also, I have an idea that I think people will like:
WARUICHINCHILLA Yesterday at 18:45 Hi there. I'm submitting a ticket because I was placed in Bronze 5 after winning 7 of my placement matches, one of which being a 4 v 5. Is this right? I figure cause of all the recent changes there might be bugs that caused it. Honestly, it would have been better just to start at B-V, then I wouldn't have wasted all that time and stress. can someone please look into this and tell me whats up?
CHARLIE SABER Today at 11:59 Hello Summoner,
The 2016 Season is a fresh start for everyone who plays ranked games. Your last season's performance carries weight, along with your placement matches, but this doesn't necessarily mean you will be placed in the same division you ended in last season.
We made some changes to the Leagues system this season that should allow players to more quickly reach the League that appropriately reflects their skill level. So, even if you didn't place in the division you expected, it's important to remember that this is your starting point for the season, not your final destination.
Please don't hesitate to let me know if you have any other questions or concerns!

WARUICHINCHILLA Today at 17:01 Okay then. In that case I have an idea than maybe you have a means to pass on to the appropriate people. Myself and people in my boat that I have spoken to feel frustrated that they could do so well in placements and wind up so low, I know of Summoners who won 9 or 10 of their placement matches and still ended up bronze 5. For next season, instead of making people who have no hope of placing above bronze 5 stress out about 10 ultimately pointless matches, allow them the option of just starting at bronze 5. Then, the next 10 matches will actually feel like they count for something, because the player will be earning LP. I'll post this on the forums to see if the idea resonates with anyone else.
What do you all think?
