So Teambuilder. Never gonna play that again.

I got out of a team builder and my team had 3 people who didnt have a clue what CS meant. We had to explain that to them what it was before the game started. Then I checked my laner's stats: 90 AD with a item 1055 and 2 HP. Why did that happen? I proceed to check the rest of their team. All were fully spec'd out with the AP/Tank/AD that they were going for. They had full Rune Pages. Meanwhile My team didnt know what a CS (let alone a rune) was.

My question is, Why did we get matched up with these opponents? Why was my team (of likely little MR) teamed against a team that all had skins, runes, and (after checking their stats) were gold + (I was the only silver in the game)? Why did this happen?

It's usually not like that. I've played at least 40 teambuilder games and the matchmaking has never been that bad.

Well it happened. My very first teambuilder as well. Not a good impression.

They were like that because you are horrible at this game. They just wanted to make the game fair by matching you up with people of equal skill.

Holy moly, the community is even toxic in the fourms.

I play a lot of team builder and they're usually much closer matched than that. (I float around the low silver to low gold averages in player rankings across each team.) Sorry about the bad matchup :\
