Daily Reminder that Runes are still Expensive

I think I did the math on 2 rune pages, 1 AD 1 AP, and I spent a total of over 14k IP.

You're silver 3 how haven't you accumulated the bare essential runes like armor seals?

I get runes are expensive, but if you're purchasing things like a fool of course it will seem like a tedious process.

Also, for everyone saying that spending 14k ip for things that are ESSENTIAL for gameplay is easy. Stop bullshiting. Unless you pay for an ip boost you get about 100 ip for 1 match, varying from 200-300 on the first win.

How many games that is you ask? About 100. That is a lot. Taking that a game lasts about 30 (usually) That is 3000 minutes of game time. That is 50 hours. 50 HOURS! For something that is essential to play the game!

Do you guys even consider that the champions cost ip too? And every new champion costs 6300 with the others and the price lowers dont happen anymore! Do you have any idea how hard it is to get all of this!

all yall need some jesus or somethin and stop flamein. look runes are pretty expensive roughly 1000 ip for one teir 3 is about 10 games without one win of the day, thats about 3 hours a day if every game the enemy team surrenders at 20 this is best case scenario. just one rune not everyone has time to play 3 hours worth of videogames and what insane people do tons of research on a game when they start?

when i started like season 3 i had zero idea of anything i knew the guys with the icon and color ment they were free and i could play them that was it i had. i heard of this game from friends and doove right in alone no research nothing until i got to level 10 and actually tarted understanding the game.

not everyone was here for that rune sale a year back let alone high enough level for teir 3s so all you get some chill cuz this guy speaks so much truth while all you haters love fighting over this instead of saying ya it sucks but what are ya gonna do, and by the way if someone said heres 6300 ip would you rather buy runes or a champion im going to buy the champion over the runes especially if im learning and finding what i like to do

I'd be happy if they at least cut the current prices by 10-20%. Not much, but enough to make a difference in the long run.

runes are way too expensive that i understand and personally i really dont think its fair and that riot needs to just remove it or make it much cheaper since grinding for runes is anti fun

You should have been saving since level 1 and you would have enough for a few champions and two full tier 3 rune sets at level 20.

ever since I finished my rune pages I haven't really spent IP, other than buying the occasional champion (though I don't really want any of the new ones)
