Where is League of Legends going

I remember when i first started playing LoL early season 4. I used to have so much fun just playing whatever I wanted wherever I wanted. The point of having such a large champion pool for us to play is to give players a diversity of gameplay. In my opinion that was the best part of league. Nowadays there are only a certain pool of champions suitable for jgling, support, adc, top, and mid and with these new tank metas or mage metas or whatever meta it is, I feel like there are less and less variety of champions that are "viable" to play. This just might be me and I might be completely wrong, but league these days doesnt feel the same as it did when I first started in season 4, as in how fun the game is. Just my daily rant :/

There's the same or more variety than ever you have simply focused on meta picks from LCS / Pro scene bare in mind we're rarely in the same meta as they are a patch behind, on top of that you probably subconsciously think you cannnot take an off meta pick well yes you can, your choice.

I had a zac support last night for example and loved it

Yeah thats why i said it just might be me :/ there are more champions being released but its like if they arent viable no one plays them like Ivern :/ but yeah everyone has different things they enjoy and whatnot. Zac support is the most broken thing ive ever experienced with mord adc btw
