How in the fuck is this even remotely possible. There were no saplings that came from bushes to do damage either. Granted the Akali took 3 turret shots, but Maokai is a FUCKING TANK not an assassin you stupid ass clowns. There is no reason a HAUNTING GUISE and BLASTING WAND Maokai should be able to 100-0 anyone unless maybe 3-4 saplings are sitting in a bush and they walk into them.

Please fire every motherfucker on this balance team, as they have never done their job well. Hire a bunch of apes if you have to, they will do better work by pointing at random champions to nerf or buff them.

Balance team is too busy collecting and consolidating data from all the games played from all Elos, to necessarily be able to make a balance decision based on their own experience of the game. (Not that their own experience will actually offer a representative sample.

If anything, you should be blaming the Beta testers for not catching this shit in the first place. (Oh but wait) The PBE isn't a representative sample for game balance either. Not to mention that the PBE is filled with Volunteers, and not paid beta testers who feverishly try and break the game.

Even if the PBE catches something, if it wasn't caught until the PBE cycle was locked, making a change to said champ won't happen until the following cycle. And again, the PBE isn't a representative sample, so such a change may go too far, or not far enough. Similarly, if something goes live, but Riot can't get the data in time, they won't even be able to test it that PBE cycle, and it would have to be saved until the following cycle. (In short, Expect any problems introduced in a patch to be resolved a month later.

All said and done, the Intelligence of their employee's is not going to affect the speed in which they can collect, and analyze the data. So you really can't expect them to be able to have a fix right away. (Much less get it right the first time)
