Forgetting to switch in champ select is NOT an excuse to feed.

Just had a game where the jg and support were going to switch champs but forgot. They then decided to feed since they didn't want to play their lanes (I was the adc). Naturally I was all "what are ya'll doing", but they started attacking ME and saying that they were going to report me and then my other teammates jumped in with them and said I was overeacting and that I'm a dumbass. Just because you forget masteries/spells/WHATEVER, its NOT an excuse to feed or play extremely poor.

Do you honestly think anyone isn't aware of that? As long as there aren't any consequences to feeding, people are going to do it. They all know it's against the rules, there's just no reason to follow them.

Then the answer is surprisingly simple, bring back the Tribunal and let theme be judged by their peers, a brainless program.

Tribunal didn't even handle intentional feeding cases, it handled verbal abuse cases. And it's coming back anyway.

It applies to any time something is written in chat that a computer may/will miss. In this case, when players are trying to get another player reported, people on the Tribunal would be able to see that the person is being reported erroneously or maliciously.

Could you give me a source on when it is "coming back"? The Tribunal has been "coming back" for over two years.

This website does have a search feature, and this is common knowledge, but sure. Why not.

http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/news/game-updates/player-behavior/reports-how-do-they-work We’re looking forward to rebooting the Tribunal after we’re through pushing new champ select to all regions and queues.

We will be working on the voting system once we've finished up the new champ select.

https://ask.fm/RiotLyte/answers/134527663810 We generally agree with some type of monthly report card, and we've designed elements of this into the new Tribunal voting system. So, basically a web profile you can visit to see your contributions to the community and how you made it a better environment. We're hoping to get this out in early 2016, but we're still wrapping up the new Champ Select.

I could probably link a reddit post too if I cared.

That... doesn't fill me with confidence. What it does tell me is that their engineers have only been focusing on Champion Select and haven't started work on the new Tribunal, or the work is still tentative.

If that is the case, I would expect the Tribunal at the earliest near the end of Season 6, or into Season 7.

What seems tentative about it? They've confirmed it in 3 different places. And yes, new features take time. all they developed for the entirety of season 4 was a map reskin.

When I say "the work is still tentative," I am saying that whatever work they have done, it is only a starting point. The Tribunal has been down for over two years with only this mention in the past three months, with people expecting(hoping) that Riot was working on it behind the scenes when it was suddenly "taken down for maintenance", but instead we now know almost no releasable work has been done in the past two years.

Yes, a "new" feature takes time, but at this rate it will most likely take another 6-12 months for it to see the light of day again.
