Dynamic Queue is truly unfair

I know this is just another post about Dynamic Queue, but I honestly believe it to be truly a problem. This past week, my 3 buddies and myself decided to put in a sesh. So, I decided to keep track of how we did in ranked compared to my lasted solo queue runs. I kept track of the first 10 games. So, here we are playing as a quadro queue. We play 10 games and go 9-1. The sad thing was, most games weren't even close. We were steam rolling people. Comparing to my solo queue run......let's just say ugly. Ended up going 2-8. Gold has been bad lately. I understand, Riot, you want to emphasize having fun with friends, but you should at least make an exception for solo queue players who don't have friends EVERYDAY to queue up with. I mean, the discrepancy in gameplay is HUGE. I believe, and wouldn't think it would be that hard, to have a dedicated Dynamic queue and solo queue. Plus, with club tags being introduced, you now know you're facing a trio, quadro, or pento queue, which doesn't sit nicely on confidence.

I've noticed similar kinds of issues. Now with the whole "club" approach, it's become even more obvious. I heard you were supposed to be matched with people doing similar numbers. However, I am not sure if this is accurate.

On top of that, some 4 man groups are "serious" with communication such as skype. Whereas other 4 man groups are more casual, of course the skype team has a major advantage.

I miss true solo queue, seen too many carried by new dynamic queue.

Yea, in terms of the "matching", I would have to say Riot just said that for balance reasons. My one buddy who was part of the group struggled in silver 5 for months, just up and down. We do this quadro sesh, 7 straight wins and now is mid silver 4 in one day. I mean, I really enjoyed the group up, but this thing was kind of rare. Everyone just happened to be in town. So now, say this week, I'm back to solo queuing which probably means "solo declining".

The power of 3-4 man premades is that its difficult for matchmaking to find another 4+1 or 3+2 teams with similiar skill level for enemies and so most of the times it gives some random bunch of solo players, obviously its a free win for a premade.

I miss solo queue so much! I have friends who always want to play but I'm a terrible player and tend to tilt pretty easily, unfortunately. Now other people in-game can't hear my frustrations but my friends over Skype or something sure can. I therefore prefer to play alone, it also helps me to just focus on my own shitty game play.

There are people who _prefer _to rank alone, despite having friends. Come on rito.

Hey I'm solo que 70% of the time and only help friends when they're on tilt or on promos

When I'm solo I dont care about facing a quadra que dynamic duo I can beat the adversity by becoming a better player and work on my mechcanics

Well of course. Nothing tilted me more than getting completely ROLLED in my series out of gold 3 when I realized I only lost 5 total LP because I was only playing VS full premades... I mean, I know I didn't lose much points but losing an entire series solely due to a premade isn't very fair

I figure the reason they're not releasing solo queue is because.. Who is going to solo in dynamic queue? so 4 mans won't be a thing really. so they might as well just make dynamic queue 3 people and put ranked 5's back in.

Who is going to solo in dynamic queue?

People who enjoy suffering.

The real reason they had no intention of releasing solo queue is once again due to pride. Once their swollen heads were forcefully pulled down to reality by the overwhelming anger and disgusted rejection from the community, they realized that if solo queue was ever to be introduced, this entire system would collapse since people would flock to true solo queue.

In order to incentivize us to stick with dynamic once solo queue is returned (soon™ aka once they figure out a clever way to make it fail on its own) they gave us a middle finger with the whole end of season rewards being decreased for solo...why? Because fuck the community for not appreciating the dynamic ranked system that was destined to fail from the start.

I'll say dynamic was a neat idea, but that's all it should have been - an idea. Ranked had enough issues, adding more is counterproductive and they should have seen this coming.

Personally I'm not touching ranked with a 10 foot pole until solo queue comes back since I don't feel like it means anything with so many premades ( which was also a terrible idea Riot...) We isolationists want ranked for ourselves; we don't want to have to drag people along just to get LP or be dragged down by the 3 / 4 man premade that only speaks through voice coms or troll the 1 or 2 people left out of it. Unfortunately, it seems you want to forcefully bring the community together any way you can - we have friends for this reason, stop forcing The Almighty Will of Rito Gaemz on us.

Nerf Udyr.

Side note: I thought it was confirmed that solo queue was on the way?

FreshAsFebreze2 votes

Really? I haven't seen anything in the grapevines or seen anything on PBE.

I could be wrong, I could have swore I saw a Rioter confirm it on the Forums that it was coming.
