What is wrong with Elise right now?

I haven't played LoL for a couple months -- I took a break right at the end of last season -- and when I came back last night, I literally had people leaving team builder as soon as they saw I was playing Elise. They would tell the leader to kick me, and if he didn't, they would leave. What happened that made Elise so bad? And why? She used to be a top tier jungler, and even after the nerfs to her cocoon width and rappel range, she was still playable... what happened!?

Better than her in all aspects.

Instead of being great early and sucking late game she just sucks the whole game now, basically. Low damage, stun doesn't last long, mana issues in the jungle now. Just.... not a good jungler anymore, TBH.

Elise is really over nerfed at the moment and the only way to make Elise work is by being a god with her.

Just look at C9, their jungler pulls out Elise from time to time and usually destroys.

Nidalee can already dominate in lane and as support... I dunno why she has to be pushing junglers out of a job too. Ugh.

they just nerfed her so hard over all the patches really shes ok but shes no way shape or form for what she used to be

Her clear speed means she can clear her jungle in the same time other junglers can clear their junglers+both rivers. Before buying t2 jungle item to help clear early then switching for 0 gold helped, but in Riots infinite wisdom did a sweeping nerf by adding gold costs to doing that while continuing to leave river minions as "large minions" putting her even further behind other junglers that didn't NEED to do that.
