Does Riot not know what there players want?

Now, I don't start this post as a salty angry player who only does Ranked games, but instead as someone who has been playing this game for a long time, and has loved it even through all its challenges. And I still love this game, it makes me happy to play honestly, especially when I finally try out Mundo and realize how much I love him.

And so, after seeing a new video by Phylol, showing off that a bug fix paired with the newest Baron Buffs, it made me think if Riot actually knows what we want. And I already know the replies "Of course Riot doesn't, they're fucking idiots who don't even know how to balance a game", but those comments are the reasons why Rioters have said they don't like listening to the boards, which in reality, is a section of there community.

So, I only state my question once again, and I do actually wonder if Riot knows what we want. We don't want more damage, we don't want games to be shorter. We just want to have fun and be able to play the game.
