How does one outplay xin zao?

Idk how to beat xin since the past few patches. Even plain safe, out farming him, and poking, he leaps towards me and melts me.

I've even tried out sustaining him as Olaf with Warlords Bloodlust and Life steal bruiser build, but it's not enough! I HAVE MORE LIFE STEAL THAN DRACULA WITH THAT BUILD AND STILL OUTSUSTAINED BY XIN!!

Even as Mord playing saf ed under tower, he just dives and 3 or 4 shots me with any build, tank, hybrid, AP, everything

Still salty over being outsustained by Life steal Warlords Olaf, wtf

He's a duelist. Are you a duelist? If not, then don't duel him. If you are, bring a friend.

First off, start with spelling his name like it is, not how you Americanize the pronunciation. Xin Zhao. Not Xin Zao or Zin Zao.

Also bring a friend. He kills you 1v1. Someone needs to CC him and then he just kinda melts. Similar to Fiora.

xin is a one-trick-pony(tail). he can only jump in and strke ONE taeget. play safe in early game (make sure you don't get caught alone).

xin is very bad in teamfights. make sure you KNOW where he is. if he's not with his team mate, ward your flanks. exhaust turns him into an harmless kitten.

i've had my share of games playing as, with and against enough xin-zhao for me to not be afraid of him.

tr:dl don't be intimidated by him. Xin-zhao thrives on the power of fear.

You can't outplay idiot-proof champions. These are typically old champions with very straightforward kits that don't give the enemy any choice, and require reworks and/or just straight nerfs.

Lifesteal doesn't really make you a much better duellist as Olaf. Like, it's decent but Xin kinda outscales you. He's a better 1v1er. If you want to beat him, take a better 1v1er like Jax Trundle Nasus (if you know how to stack and play safe) Shyvana Darius Tryndamere or a guy that can peel him off your carries. A ranged carry with good selfpeel can work as well.
