Daily reminder that Morde desperatly needs a tiny Movespeed buff

Riot even flat out said that they don't want to buff Morde because the only ones that play him are Morde mains such as myself, and that Morde mains are "out of line" with the champ, even in the terrible spot he's in after the Rylias nerf.

Rylias and Boots of Swiftness where his 2 core items after the rework. Both where nerfed.

You don't know what it's like to rush full boots early, use ghost, and STILL be outran by the enemy because they bought BASIC boots.

Morde doesn't need damage buffs, only an additional 10 MS, please Rito

This. We know Riot, they're really stingy when it comes to Mordekaiser buffs, this "shift" might be something worth considering.

I appreciate the agreement. I guess the movement bonus on his W could be more tactically useful, like helping an ally catch up; but I feel like he needs more universal help than anything. And yeah, sadly riot forces trade-offs on anyone they're not a fan of.

The MS on w would be useful if it didnt decay as you got closer. It doesn't really say "juggernaut," rather, it screams "Jugger-NOT."

I don't know much about how desperately Morde needs this movespeed buff

But they do well within my games and chase isn't a problem.

idk you're Bronze 3, are you sure you're playing Morde optimally?

Plat I currently, Morde works fine, he's wonky as hell though, riddled with bugs and hella slow. All things that can, and should be addressed by riot.

I've noticed that most bugs are in the bushes, but there are a PLETHORA of other bugs that need to be addressed.

Hey MM, are you still using Rylias? I was using stormraiders, ghost and flash, but since the nerf I have had slightly better luck with DFT, Runic Armor, and a more damage oriented build with one tank item(other resistances from Zhonyas and maw, ect.)

I've also tried playing with and without Rylias.

I'm not the best player, I know. Morde isn't a WEAK champ, you can do amazing things if you know how to play him, and know subtle tricks to give you hidden range and poke.

The ONLY major issue is his base Movespeed. I

f it's any condolences, I get S with him a lot, but I also have learned to play more passive, ward, hyper focus farm, and how to freeze lane. Was one game from hitting silver, than preseason started, I won 7/10 games, carried 8, and placed in B5 again. No big deal tho, Ill get out eventually when I play after work. ;)

I dont play morde myself I main ad

I didnt know you were plat since the account you're using is b3 lol

and I doubt b3 players can play their champs optimally.

It's just I played with that one Challenger morde guy, Dark something, and I didn't see a problem but he's really good. and another time with a Master Morde, he also carried his lane.

I'll get down votes for elo shaming. I don't care, but if you think you can optimally play your champion and stay Bronze 3, lmao, I don't know what to say to that.

But anyways.. Maybe you know Morde well enough to know what he needs, I think going to summonerschool might net you better opinions on morde.

Had stormraiders, ghost, flash, rushed boots, and had ludens. Still outran, I had no escape, numerous times(there are many hypermobile champs who are still faster than all those together).

I've found that running full hybrid damage runes, masteries, and items makes me able to do things with Mord again. Even LESS mobile tho. I was using stormraiders but.. Other champs just run around Morde

I'll get a ghost, and Morde is SO SLOW, that the ghost stops behind me many times because the ghost is THAT much daster than me. It's humiliating.

I even had a Udyr yesterday STOP COMPLETLY as I walked up to him, only to STILL escape, not being able to catch him with ghost and flash because he used bear stance to run away. While halarious, ghost, flash, and a stormraiders proc should allow Mord to catch up to even an Udyr who used Near Stance.

I don't think they're gonna buff/nerf him. They will most likely leave him garbage tier and then rework him in 2020 or something (just like Azir Kalista ).

morde is in a fine state. He has bugs that should be addressed, but he does not need straight up stat buffs.

I know he's slow, but literally no champion can be outspeeded by a champion with basic boots if you use Ghost without them using some MS up ability or a dash or something. That's without mentioning full boots and it works with any level you're at for the Ghost speed.

He should have 340 MS. Its not like he deals more damage than Darius or heals more than DrMundo . Juggernaut doesnt mean low base MS, Nasus taught us that.

Play him bot with a tank support and your problems go away. Especially in this dive meta you can be tankier then the average adc with a shield and the heal from your W.
