GP is really strong. I'd say broken, but apparently some people have a lot of trouble playing him, so newcomers make him seem less unfair. In my opinion, as well as that of many other people's, he needs a nerf.
I suggest starting with making him less abusive in lane for someone who hyperscales into mid-late game. This can be done by putting a mana cost of some kind on his barrels. This way he doesn't just get to freely spam them without end.
AstroFerrari 3 votesIf you were to do that then his early game barrel recharge time would need to be significantly reduced, or outright removed. Since enemy champs can destroy his barrels, he'd just risking wasting his mana against champions who can easily get rid of his barrels.
Dynikus1 votesSo your suggestion on how to fix GP is by making his already weak early game weaker? I don't understand. The problem isn't his laning phase, it's how much of a monster he is late game. His barrels are barely spammable early game anyway with how long of a CD they have.
