You don't know if it's a bug or not.

Riot you motherfuckers

It's likely a bug.

if intended, there would be a jumping animation intended to run through or flip over something. This just looks like Willump doing a hop at the start of the snowball sequence and it glitches him over a wall.

How do you see this and think it was intended lmao. I know Riot is known for making mistakes like this but come on, you can't seriously believe there intention was to make a move where you create A MASSIVE SNOWBALL THAT IF DONE NEXT TO A WALL MAGICALLY PUTS YOU ON THE OTHER SIDE....

looks like a bug to me, it's still pbe after all

I fking hate titles with sarcasm. Riot does not understand sarcasm. They will accept the thanks and ignore the actual post.

If you got something to say, just give it to them straight written on the title.

but they couldnt stop themselves and had to give him a knockup.

First of all, what else is gonna happen when you get hit with the BIGGEST SNOWBALL EVER! There's no "fall over" mechanic.

Secondly, Nunu is meant to be a tank, utility champion, all they did was give him more utility to help, not to mention it does shit for damage. From what I've seen, it's not a normal riot tank ability where the base is so high you don't need AP. All it is is a unique and interesting ability that knocks up for a small amount of time.

i agreed

i have an issue with the knock up...does it really need to be a knock up? How about a stun? a Pacify? A Ground? Another Slow that stacks up to another root? How about an Entangle? How about Suspension?

People are getting to be right about too many knock ups being in the game and too many getting added. Nunu and Willump didn't have a knock up b4 and I am not sure they need one to help them now, many other forms of CC can work as well. Allow opponents more chances to actually make use of the Tenacity stat, and not get put into a bounce house...

Cause that knock up on top of everything else could make him strong in the right hands especially in higher ranks and LCS...and then we will have YET another champion that is impossible to balance for high and low skill because they just have like ONE mechanic that is just 2 good in teamplay and they could still work without. Then Riot has to intentionally make them suck...I don't want that to happen to Nunu and Willump

Join the cause change the Knock Up

I just like the way he has so much CC and then a 3 second channeled slow (50%-95%) ult that does 1250 damage before taking into account 250% AP scaling... I mean this guy is gunna be so good with an AP/HP build xD

Marothennan10 votes

His ult is almost exactly the same now. The only difference is the ult on live servers has a little less base damage and looks like shit

And NewNew gets a shield.

Marothennan1 votes

Forgot about that, thanks for mentioning

I mean it's also a little different on a kit with a multi-target snare.

Lol, true but you failed to take into account the CC in his new kit. I'd expect nerfs if I was you.

Thats a bug...

Oh yes, please complain about champions getting modernized. It's always sooooo bad when a champion is no longer completely reliant on flash to get away from the ones who CAN dash over walls.

Limitations, and how you play around them, is what gives ~~ a game~~ everything depth.

Not at all. What gives depth is variation.

Pong has no depth.

its a bug. your champion movement tracker switches with the snowball for the duration of the movement part of the effect, even tho the hit box stays on the nunu/willump model. because the snowball appears in front of nunu, it'll inevitably go over the wall to prevent collision, then your movement tracker goes into it, and the nunu/willump model is forced to stick to it. allowing for the wall jumping bug. they will likely fix this, by making the snowball burst immediately if you try to use it against walls and such.. or by forcing it to turn your model away from the wall.. or they'll just keep it, and give him wall jumping utility.. idfk..

I'm okay with this. It's an interesting way for an otherwise Olaf-style jungler to have some terrain scaling. If it's good it might make him playable in competitive without being broken in lower elos. I played against him a lot on PBE and he feels really fair and fun to play against even in the most bullshit scenario of getting blindsided by a 200mph snowball from fog of war.

Looks like the intent was to make it possible to go over the very narrow ledges (such as the beginnings corners of walls) to prevent accidental collision when casting alongside a wall or when navigating around the corner of a wall, but they made the "dash" range larger than needed which makes it look silly "phasing" straight through walls. I think Riot will fix it. How small the "hop" animation looks makes going through those thick walls look completely unintended.
