How does one support in promos?

I just recently played ranked, and it seems supporting can't do much unless your adc is good, I'm getting one of my adc main friends to duo with me but i'd like to still ask the question.

The same way you'd support when you're not in promos. Ward, protect your adc in the lane phase, positively impact teamfights, shotcall.

My general rule of thumb is give your adc the best fighting chance you can without feeding yourself. If they choose to play poorly or die alot, create pressure where there is opportunity. I will roam all the way fucking top if I see there is potential there, then float between mid and top and let bot fall. In the long run, it will actually let your adc farm pushed in waves and make their ADC come mid, which gets them away from your ADC. Its not a great time, but it works better than just feeding bot lane to hell and back. Generally your adc will flame tho.

If the ADC is doing ok..... balance between helping them and going mid. Here, you really are kind of at the mercy of your team. It matters a lot too what adc they are playing. So so at Jinx is different than soso at lucian. Jinx will take off if you love her.

Supports can carry. A high Bronze friend of mine rode Leona support all the way to Platinum in a few months.

Promos suck balls. There. I said it. I've failed my promos to silver 2 4 times and I'm rotting away in silver 3 currently. I just need gold for the free skin pls
