While 0,3 increase mana per 5 second might seem trivial, truth is it's a 60% increase! I don't think this buff alone will put him in a spot where he can compete against the more popular Marksmen, but as small as this buff is, it is a step in the right direction!
Now if only Riot could decrease his E mana cost and make it scale with ranks xD I'ma keep dreaming and crossing my fingers xD
I have loved varus for a while, but hes so weak i cant play him. But this buff does certainly help

The top marksmen have been getting nerfs regularly too, so in a relative sense Varus has been getting better. This helps too. I think Varus is getting to a point where he can hold his own.
I was able to go from Bronze to Gold this season with Varus. Snipes for days.
Math can be deceiving. Today, I ate 2 m&m's instead of 1. That's 100% increase!
