ADC's are so frustrating at times...

Being a tank-oriented player, I love running in front of my team during fights. If I can tank long enough for players to get off some good damage and even some kills, I feel I've done my part, regardless if I die. But what's frustrating the most is when I'm tanking fights and I see the teams carry spending more time moving around the fight than actually getting some shots off. I agree, position is everything for the carry, but you need to also spend most of your time planted on the ground SHOOTING than running around behind me. I am tanky, not invincible, I can't stand there forever. Please shoot something. Right click something then go afk, i don't even care, just shoot. SHOOT. I'll often see carries farming CS while a teammate is running away from someone right beside them, like don't hesitate to shoot the enemy off. Save a life.

Just finished playing a game as Tryndamere and i can easily 1v2. So while our teams are butting heads in mid lane, I'll jump in from the side to their backline to kill or run them away making it a 4v5 / 3v5 but even then the carries jogging back and forth behind turret like... we can easily wipe the team, they are ALL on me right now, my ults on. They are all low. Please shoot. Don't be afraid to break a nail.

But of course, what does it matter, carries always come out with an S+ for their defensive playing. Regardless of the win or lose.

Sorry if I pissed off some ADC mains out there. I'm talking to the small portion of heavily defensive ADC's.

it's because if you want to climb as adc you learn quickly that your teammates will often start fights in places that will get you insta-deleted if you try to get anywhere near, so you tend to lean towards caution. Sometimes that caution is misplaced and will lose you games, but still not as many as being too reckless would :l.

Having said that, what you described is why i started adc to begin with (more towards shooting towers when your frontline is zoning, but taking damage from the enemy- still very similar to what you said)

I'd rather if I didn't get deleted by a fed assassin and be flamed by team with "omg noob adc go get cancer and kys u noob" every time I get into damage range, thank you very much.

Yup can be very frustrating indeed when your team doesn't peel for you. Its the reason why I love playing tristana and other adcs because their kits have self peel in them. It is also frustrating to be one shotted by everything in the game but thats the life of ADC in a nutshell against certain champions. More on topic overall yup if an adc isn't autoing a tank/any target then they are losing out on alot of damage. and in general are suppose to become more aggressive once enemy team has used all their burst/CC.

This is true. However there are smart assassins that won't do anything until I step into AA range then go for me. I suppose that not feeding the enemy team 300 gold is better than dying just to get one AA off, since at least you won't be a liability to your team.
