Season 3 called, they want Kassadin back.
Just kidding, no they don't. Nobody does but Kassadin players who end every game thinking "lmao how do they not ban this shit?"
During Season 3, when Kassadin was the oppressive monster that he has once again become, the balance team obliterated him and left him in the trash heap where he belongs. The question now?
Who made the decision to gradually buff this champion back to that state? Currently Kassadin has few legitimate weaknesses. Even his pre-six laning phase, historically his weakest point has the added defensive wall of being a lane bully who is safe so long as he doesn't Cro-Magnon push into the enemy tower. If you didn't kill him seven times in that five minute window? You pretty much lost.
Well, to put it more accurately, like most champions who build Rod of Ages, you lose when he gets Rod of Ages. Then you mega lose when he hits level 11. Maybe the reason I find this champion so offensive is because I despise time trials? Fuel for later thought.
Decisions like buffing Kassadin lead me to believe that whoever oversaw and participated in them didn't play during Season 3 or even research it. Kassadin buffs? Full AP Gragas being allowed to exist? Annie attack range reverted? LeBlanc reverted? These things all got removed for a reason, you know.
Just let void corruption (or the balance team) destroy this man, already. He found his daughter, he can stop now.
