When you're a support main, who doesn't play carry supports. You sit there entirely dependent on your team.
Finished flex placements(don't really care about flex much but still) fought mostly plats and a d2 nid today.

It's whatever, I can climb, but it's annoying. Looks like Ill be breaking out the Voli again!
Placements always drop you low. I know a silver 4 who started playing nothing but Leona and hit plat 4. There's nothing wrong with maining support tanks.
I'm a support main and started bronze last season due to the reset and ended up in plat. Playing solo in DQ as support 99.99% of the time.
There are a lot of ways you can with as support. Sure, it's a team game, and things are going to happen. ADCs think they're the "carry", but the truth is they get carried there. It's your job to open the door to Nirvana.
You can do it with a lot of supports.
