In a kogmaw/caitlyn/hypercarry meta Nocturne should really be able to shine. Boom DARKNESS from nowhere jumping right onto the ADC no matter what the front line is.
But... he can't. His spellshield is too easy to outplay, his burst damage is bad even if he builds for it, and his kit doesn't work as a juggernaut.
Nocturne buffs please.

Melledoneus4 votesNocturne is about bursting down a target before they can react. The ult should make it difficult for the target's team to help them (because most support abilities require targeting) and when you have a build of 
etc will make a super-effective one-shotting machine.
Just remember to throw your Q right before you land so that you can auto upon landing, proc the E, and hit the hydra for a huge burst combo that few carries can survive.
If the carry has bought some HP, BoRK should help shred them down, especially if your spell shield has been procc'd.

Warrior, duskblade-ghostblade-hydra if you are feeling like chasing and dueling more, had one do it,,,yesterday i think? Towards my kog who in the end died 13 times from that alone, altho to be fair that kog was kind of stupid but we (his team) still tried peeling for him to little success.
Thankfully we had a fed and good Azir to cover for it.

Kaìju1 votesIf his out feared enemies that are not that target I think he would improve immensely. His kit isn't terrible, it's really just that if you build damage you get busted but if you build tanky you just int. If his out had say a 1.5 second fear I think he could have enough time to kill the HVT, maybe make the fear a radius and you get more AD or attack speed based on number of enemies you fear. Thematically I think it works; The more safe you feel in your hole the more fear is made when the lights go out.

Is he weaker than most other junglers? Yes Is his clear one of the worst? Probably Is his passive an absolute garbage? Yes, even Morgana's is better. Does his ult scare players into running away like headless chickens? You bet!
