Creep Score and Jungling

Because of all the jungle changes and the sheer amount of gold that can be acquired in the jungle now, I would like to ask that CS (creep score) be calculated based off the total amount of gold you get per kill instead of per kill. In other words, because killing a large monster in the jungle is worth approximately 3-4 times that of a lane creep, I would like my CS to reflect such a thing.

I would like something like this because, as a fairly farm heavy jungler, it is sometimes hard to compare my cs vs my laners; am I keeping up? What about enemy laners; Can I duel the enemy top laner with 244 cs if I have 150? Maybe, because my 150 isn't really 150; its actually a lot more than that. I think a change like this would be a big clarity buff (haha).

Of course I am not exactly sure how to implement something like this. Obviously right now, getting a kill results in the gold earned and the CS counter increasing by one (if its a champion, the kill goes on your kda instead of CS). I would say that for things would increase your CS counter, a check should be done on how much gold is being awarded. This way, when you get a +18 gold for a caster minion, it bumps the CS by one. When you get +40 from a siege minion, you get +2 to your CS. When you kill gromp and get 90 gold, you get +4 or + 5, depending on where they make the cutoffs.

Please share your thoughts for jungle clarity!!

Or you could just take a look at their items.

Clarity

Oh boy it's that buzzword again. I'm so glad riot started using it so I can know who to immediately not take seriously :)

I think adding total gold means nothing. If the enemy top laner has earner 5K gold then you may decide not to gank because you only have earned 3.5K. but that top laner hasnt backed in awhile and is sitting on 3K. Check items to see power and potential.

When jungling I can usually tell how I'm pacing myself by comparing levels and how much time I have spent walking around rather than farming. Unsuccessful ganks can really set you back.

OR..... you could just go look at the "Gold Earned" stat if you want a number for this.

But it's not like it matters anyway; how well a jungler does in lane isn't measured by CS one way or the other.
