Regarding the cancellation of Clash

You have a three day weekend. It's nice outside, you can watch the Indy 500, or spend time with your family. Many of us have to work through the three day weekend, so your life could be worse. Besides, Riot is providing the service for free. They don't owe you anything. That said, if you're whining about clash being cancelled this weekend, stop it.

Glad I'm not alone in thinking this. Everyone is running around the boards demanding compensation like entitled children. All because a free to play game postponed their new free gamemode to keep gamebreaking bugs from ruining everyone's experiences. GAH.

I mean I have work for most of the weekend. Even then I am considered dishonorable (I need to learn how to handle griefers better), so I don't get to.play anyway. Then again, the self-asskissing culture of league gets on my nerves too. I mean if someone wins, it's because they're sooooooo good. If they lose, everyone else on their team sucks.

well you gotta think, most people that play league have no social lives, and haven't seen the sun for extended amounts of time, telling them to not be mad at Clash's cancellation is like telling them to not breathe, or sleep and eat (if they even do that).

I mean I can understand someone getting disappointed about it, but you take it like a man, say "oh well," and play either regular games or do something else. And these people saying "we requested this weekend off to play clash," man, I wish my boss was that cool. Letting you and your buddies take an entire weekend off to play computer games? That would never slide if I tried it. I don't know how you pulled it off, but you still have an entire three day weekend ahead of you. You can go hang out, watch the Indy 500, fire up the grill, something.

do I believe riot deserves to compensate us? of course not. (other then the tickets spent) but you cant not expect people to get pissed, especially because lots of people playing this are grown adults, who have lives. they cant just sync 5 peoples schedules as easily as a gaggle of kids whenever they please.

At least the adults can still do something. Although I bet most of the whiners are kids.

its true, they can, but for the most part its not like they can just magically clash every single weekend. responsibilities OP
