Kayle is frustrating... To play as

Kayle is one of the champions that has unique mechanics (her transformations) and is one of the most feared late game champs and you can easily win games with her PROVIDED THAT YOUR TEAM DOES'NT FEED THE ENEMY IN THE FIRST 20 minutes

Kayle is frustrating to play as because for the first 20 minutes into the game you basically just sit there in your lane just sitting there trying to farm without getting constantly harrassed and you can do nothing about it because you have a health bar of an ADC

So when you reach level 11 thats when you get your ranged form and is one of your powerspikes but... A.) Your team fed the enemy so much that they are just snowballing around 1-shotting people and your teammates dont know how to play safe for some reason B.) Your team dominated them so much that all of those abuse you took in lane was meaningless... and the enemy surrenders C.) A stalemate which in your case rarely occurs

choice A constantly happens

Now for her level 16 final form you have a chance of carrying your team if your slightly losing but if you're level 16 and everyone on the enemy team has like 5-10 kills you are boned because theres only you that can match their power aaaaaannnnddd theres 5 of them that can 1 shot you.

Kayle was the first champion I bought and played, Kayle's rework was the reason I joined league of legends, My first ( and only) ever Pentakill was with Kayle ( I still lost though) and playing her just feels frustrating because you get to be abused and witness your entire team feed the enemy.

Honestly i feel like Kayle is underrated for this reason: Top lane is a useless 1v1 minigame. Literally all Top Laners do(Besides Riven) is play a 1v1 and watch the rest of their team decide if they are going to win or lose, regardless of if they win or lose top lane. Kayle is like the only top laner that scales into relevence and puts the game a lil bit in your own hands.

This. If you play usually play adc and know how to play safe early on, you can just pick her top and play the game on your own past 16 and contribute heavily even past 11.

Kayle can start carrying after item 3006 item 3043 item 3153, which comes at any time between 19 and 25 minutes. When she gets RageBlade, she is most likely the strongest champion in the match regardless of anything.

If she has a frontline yes. If, say, a mage supp and the enemy team has anything of an assassin she can still be held in check if her ult is on cd. Otherwise pretty much.

Wrong. Kayle is the absolute worst laner in this regard. Every other top lane champ comes online and starts participating around 15 mins or less.

Kayle comes and contributes nothing but 2-2.5s invulnerability until 25-30 mins in.

This is why she sucks, she takes too long to be anything while stuff like Renekton is out 1v3'ing, Kled is rocketing his team into the enemy while eating a ton of enemy resources while being focused, Jax is demolishing the enemy base and can't be stopped by any one person, etc.

Tried a shot to play Kayle my self, I have never been so bored afk farming to 16 lvl, because this champion pre 16 lvl is just controllable caster minion.

Yeah, the rework was only really fun when she was blatantly busted. They're trying some stuff to change her up but we'll see how it goes. The champion is basically for masochists now, you sit back and try not to get annihilated for 15 minutes and by the time you're becoming an actual champion your teammates have either won or lost the game independently of you. Even hitting 16 is no guarantee you'll have fun, you're sometimes so far down on CS and gold that you're just not useful in any way.

I was playing Irelia a couple days ago and just hit 6, only had 2 kills on the Kayle at the time, when enemy Pantheon came top. I 1v2'd two full health enemies and my friends went berserk about how crazy a double kill that early in the game when all parties had full hp was, I had to explain it wasn't very impressive because Kayle is basically a cannon minion pre 11.

Do you think riot should try to push her mid? I cant be the only one who thinks she feels out of place toplane.

it's hard enough to survive harass top lane, so i'm not sure why you'd want to move her mid. ive honestly enjoyed playing her as sup more than anything, though most carries aren't too wild about it. on the rare occasion you get a carry that knows what's up, she's actually a lot of fun. her sustain is top tier, and her q and e often catch people off guard. try coin>censor>nashor>rageblade/rylais sometime. max w then e or q depending on whether or not you have a poke bot laner.

I think the biggest thing with kayle is she is designed like a carry from Dota 2 would be designed. Horrendous early game that requires baby sitting to reach a godly late game.

The problem is, kayle cant go bot lane to get the support she actually needs to reach her power, because of how the rest of the game works. So she is stuck suffering in a solo lane praying for the best.

They are fixing her next patch. Just be patient.

Late Game Kayle needs to be more OP. She has the worst early game of any champion in the game and one of the worst if not also the worst mid game for any champion in the game. Late game she does become uncontrollable, but the problem is if the enemy team has one good counter like Master Yi or Jax she isn't as OP as she is. For the first few minutes its a 1 v 5 for your team because all your good for in those first mins is feeding the enemy. Even after a few mins its still a 3 v 5 since you just become less likely to feed but will still fed if you try anything. They should just let her stack with champion kills, and give her more AD scaling.

Kayle now feels like Susan did back in season 2-3, where he would get bullied nonstop and would constantly be ignored by your teams jungler, because a large percentage of them didn't know how to play safe enough to farm his q. Now that there is this much sustain in the game via runes, on top of the only tank rune to really help with those all in champs (lookin at you bone plating), it surprises me just how easy it is to make kayle implode

That being said, I would be all for them buffing her early game, as long as that late game takes a hit. Yeah, lategame kayle is a force to be reckoned with, especially with a protect comp, but like you said, how many games do you have that last that long where your team wasn't already shitting on them and would have won already if they had more than 60% of a champion pre-11

I just wish her early jungle clear speed was better so I could jungle with her and avoid at least part of the lane harrassment.
